"mmh miles" a soft hum came out of my mouth as miles peppered kisses on my neck. the song, love will tear us apart, playing on miles' speakers bounced off the walls.

we both then heard the door open to reveal miles' nanny, kate, causing us to look over at her. i was still straddling miles on his bed and he was backed up against the wall while sitting.

"you guys! you two need to learn how to not-" kate tried to say but was interrupted by miles.

"you need to learn how to knock." miles said, causing me to laugh and play with his fingers. he mouthed a small i love you to me and i smiled.

kate rolled her eyes and i threw a pillow at her.

"get out of here." i said, annoyed.

"wait until i tell mrs. grose about this." she tells us, her face turning red, causing miles to let out a soft chuckle.

"she thinks we're siblings." miles told his nanny, laughing.

it was true, after mrs. grose had aged, she forgot quite a lot of things. she never really saw us anymore. she couldn't walk and she barely talked. my parents don't pay attention to me, so miles basically moved me in. i practically live here.

kate slammed the door not causing anything but me and miles going back to our session. a few seconds later i pull away.

"what's wrong?" miles asked.

"kates just so annoying. like she always gets in the middle of everything." i say truthfully.

"i'm not gonna let her ruin anything, okay?" miles says, tucking my hair behind my ear, i grab his hand and smile at him.

"okay." i say. we go back to what we were doing.

what a night.
