-sorry for any errors I was tired when writing
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I haven't seen Draco in class or at dinner for a few days now. Not that I cared but I was just curious. If anyone had the right to be upset, it was me.
On the bright side things were going well with Cedric. He was a really sweet guy, which at times I wish he could be a little mean in a joking way. I really liked him though.
Later that day Cedric and I were going to study. I've never been to the hufflepuff common room before.
After classes were over for the day I found him waiting for me in the hallway."You ready to go?" He asked as he smiled down at me.
"Yup." I responded.
I was excited, even though it was just studying.
We walked up to the entrance of the hufflepuff common room.
He tapped little barrels that popped up in a specific order. The door slowly opened.
"That looked more fun than just saying a password to get in."
"Yeah, it can be tricky remembering sometimes though." Cedric said.
When we walked in Cedric was greeted by his friends. I looked around the room in shock. It seemed so cozy and calm here. (Pic for reference☟︎)
Everyone cleared out of the room, we sat on the couch. There were candles on the tables and a yellow light shined from above. The room felt warm, I felt myself relax for the first time in a while.
"So, you like it?" Cedric asked.
"Of course, it's so beautiful in here. You're really lucky."
"The slytherin common room is nice as well, just in a different way." Cedric said.
He looked down and started getting his books out of his bag and put them on the table.
"So, for me we have a potions essay due soon. And from what I remember, you have a big test this week."
"Yeah, how'd you remember that?" I asked.
"I remember because of how hard I studied for it. I also remember getting an A+ and telling my dad how happy I was." He said.
When he was explaining everything I felt his eyes glued to my face. I blushed a little when I felt his hand brush against mine as we wrote.
About an hour went by of us studying. It was almost dinner.
"Would you like to sit with me at dinner?" He asked.
"Sure." I said.
We walked to the Great Hall. Students were walking in and filling up the tables. I made eye contact with Luna and smiled. She gave me a reassuring smile back. Cedric and I sat down with his friends, which I have grown fond of overtime.
