When I woke up I felt someone's eyes on me. I opened my eyes to see Cedric sitting at the foot of my bed with something in his hands.
"Good morning beautiful." He said.
I sat up and rubbed my eyes.
"Don't take this the wrong way but...why are you here?" I questioned.
He smiled and looked up at me.
"Well, I wanted to give you this. We've been hanging out for some time now, and I wanted to get you something."
He handed me a small dark green box with a black bow around it.
I untied the bow and opened it. There lied a silver ring with a small heart on it. I felt a smile spread across my face. (Reference⬇️)

"I thought you would like it. Sorry if it's the wrong color or something-
I reached over and hugged him tightly.
"I-I'm gonna guess you like it huh?"
I laughed and let go of him.
"I like it when you hug me, it's nice." He chuckled.
"Yeah, well don't get used to it." I teased as I shoved his shoulder lightly.
He got up and waited for me outside my room. I'm not even sure how he remembered the password to the Slytherin common room but I didn't mind.
I got dressed and tried to tie my tye. It was always a little hard for me. Sometimes I didn't even wear it because it made me angry when I couldn't get it on right.
I sighed and put my ring on. I put on some perfume and grabbed my bag. I walked out the door where Cedric was patiently waiting.
"Need help with that y/n/n?" He asked.
"Yeah actually." I replied.
He walked in front of me really close and put his hands near my neck. I watched his hands as he tied it for me. His rings were shining in the light.
"There we go." He rested his hands on my shoulders.
"T-Thanks Ced." My voice being a little shaky.
We walked our separate ways to class. When I finally got to potions I saw Draco sitting in his seat. He hasn't been in his classes for a while. His head was down looking at his hands.
I made my way over to my seat next to him. I sat down and glanced over at him. He refused to even be in my space. He's a bitch for using me, but why did I still care about him?"
D͟R͟A͟C͟O͟'S͟ P͟O͟V͟:
For the first time in a while I'm going to my classes. I feel guilty for what I said to Y/n. I would never use her, I really care about her. I only said that because I was hurt.
When I was in potions someone sat next to me. I knew it was her, I smelled her perfume. I felt her glance over at me.
It took everything in my power to not look back. I couldn't do that, not after what I said to her.
Damn it. I really like her. What the fuck have I done?
Y͟/͟N͟ P͟O͟V͟:
Through potions class we didn't speak a word to each other. He wouldn't even look at me. At this point any friendship we had was lost. We shouldn't have done it.
After class I caught up with Cedric. We walked through the hallway together as people turned and stared. Cho glanced at me and smiled politely. When Cedric broke up with her he explained everything. They ended on good terms I guess.
When I went to dinner Cedric and I walked in together. Draco glared over at us and quickly looked back down. We went to our separate tables. I sat with Adrian and Terrance instead. They were my friends from quidditch anyway.
"What a nice surprise." Terrance said.
"Hi Y/n." Adrian said smiling at me.
"Hey guys." I replied.
As we sat together and talked I felt Draco's eyes on me. What could he possibly want from me?
When we finished eating we all went back to our common rooms. I felt someone grab my arm and pull me in a room. I looked around, this was Draco's room. I turned to see Draco with his back to the door. I couldn't see his face clearly because of how dark it was.
"What Draco?" I said in a stern voice.
"You are driving me crazy Y/n."
"That's nice for you." I sneered.
I walked towards the door but he blocked my way.
"Move over dibshit." I snarled. He was really pissing me off.
"I just want to talk to you." Draco addressed.
"About what, how you used me?"
"I didn't- I just said that because I was...jealous."
He looked down at his feet.
I sighed.
"It just pisses me off when I see you with Cedric alright. I know I said friends with benefits but I like you. I want you. But I can't have you because of him."
I stood there shocked for a moment.
"It's always been him Y/n, and I know that. I just refuse to accept it."
His anger went straight to disappointment.
I started to feel bad, I liked him too. But I also wanted Cedric.
"I just wanted to clear things up a bit. I'm sorry."
He looked up at me and moved out of the way. As I walked passed him I stopped and rested my hand on his shoulder.
I walked out and went to my room. Well shit. Wasn't expecting that. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A/N: sorry for the short chapter I've been busy.
