The crowd was going absolutely wild.

Spencer James had just snatched the ball with his good arm, and was running to the End-zone. Every person in the audience was on their feet, some were even banging on their mental seating, while he ran for his life. Making a summersault roll into the End-Zone, which gave his team Touchdown points. Crenshaws team had won!

The cheerleaders for Crenshaw went wild as they chanted their teams name. Obsidian James was on top of the pyramid per usual, yelling her brothers names as he gave her his charming smile. Spencer's smiles after his wins were always Obsidian's favorite thing.

Being his twin you'd expert her to feel shadowed by her amazing brother but she never felt that way. His wins were her wins and vise versa. She wouldn't survive without him by her side.

Suddenly screams erupted the stands as someone with a car screeched their tires and began shooting down the field.

Pop. Pop. Pop.

Everyone ducked to their knees, in fear of a bullet grazing one of them. Spencer ran to his sister and covered her.

After the shooting the ambulance arrived and took the injured man into the emergency vehicle where he would most likely die anyway. In Crenshaw barely any made it out of a shooting alive. It wasn't IF it was going to happen to you, it was more of a WHEN it was going to.

As Spencer and Obsidian were walking out the football fields, elbow to elbow, they were approached by a man. Spencer was quick to shield his sister but soon realized the man was no threat but a coach.

"Spencer James?" He asked. "Sorry. Didn't mean to startle you two." Spencer calmed his posture. "Billy Baker. Varsity Coach. Beverly High." He introduced himself as he shook Spencer's hand. Spencer's eyes widened.

"Beverly Hills, huh?" Spencer asked as he let out a laugh. He had never actually met someone from that school, nobody that rich dared step foot here anyways.

"Damn. That's like Beverley Chihuahua's type of thing!" Obsidian spoke as she squinted her eyes at the man. He let out a laugh before shaking her hands as well.

"You must be Obsidian. Heard good things about you too. You are a great cheerleader. Saw those stunts." The man spoke fondly. "Anyways I'll cut to the chase. Spencer, I've had my eyes on you. Strong hands, you match up well against single coverage. Saw that film on you with the four touchdowns, against Fairfax last season. I need you to come play for me." The couch proposed, crossing his hands against his body.

Spencer was visibly shocked at his offer. Obsidian stood beside him was a bright smile.

"But you can't recruit." Spencer spoke. Obsidians eyes flicked to her brother in annoyance. Spencer was truly a hardass sometimes.

"I can get around that. Assuming you want to play pro right?" The Coach questioned though he probably already knew the answer. Spencer nodded his head.

"You know, South Crenshaw, you've got a strong team, and Beverly hills, we've had a couple of rough seasons, but i'm gonna turn that around. Plus we've got things that Crenshaw doesn't have."

"Is that right?" Spencer stated.

"Better education and a safer school. I can get you a way out man." Billy Baker suggested. Obsidian knew this would be where he messed up, Spencer didn't want an out. He thought Crenshaw was his home forever no matter the offer.

"Appreciate the offer man but I don't need a backup. This where I belong. Plus I got my family, Obsidian to look after. She my plus one." Spencer said as he turned to walk away, dragging Obsidians annoyed ass with him.

Once they were finally out of the Varsity Coach's line of earshot, Obsidian started her attack.

"Are. You. Fucking. Stupid. Spencer!" She said whacking him on the side on the head between words. He groaned in annoyance. Obsidian could be just like their mother at times.

"What Is your problem?" He said facing forward and walking again.

"You just brushed off an offer for Beverly Hills. That's like every persons dream here!" Obsidian spoke as if it were obvious.

"Well it ain't mine, okay? I'm not leaving here. Especially you. You are my best friend O, and I will not leave you for some rich offer. I ain't selfish like that." He argued. She couldn't blame him. If it were her getting the offer, she would never leave her brother, but it wasn't and she had to convince him otherwise.

"I get that but. This could be your way out, Spence, I don't want you to end up like that guy today. Please." Obsidian practically begged. But once Spencer had decided on something he wasn't going to budge. He saw how much it meant to his sister but he couldn't dare leave her.

They walked home in a comfortable silence before getting inside. They both went to their room which they shared. One side was decorated with football trophies and metals, while the other was filled with movie posters and cheer bows. They were definitely different. But they somehow always managed to click.

"Night, Spence." Obsidian whispered as she turned to face the wall. She heard him let out a small sigh before rolling over in his bed that was on the other wall.

"Night, O."
