Today was a peculiar day, it was my first day going somewhere casual without my mom being protective over it. It was the local skatepark for skaters!

I haven't been to this certain one since I was a kid. The memories will come flooding back to me like a tsunami. I start giggling out of excitement and I wiggled my hips together. I wasn't really good at actual skating, so I just stuck with roller skates. Yes, roller skates, not blades. I was kind of bad at some sports that my mom forced me to try.

I grabbed my pair of roller skates and started skidding down the sidewalk. Trees loomed over me as I crossed that one street. That single street was packed with cars, so I had to put down my stuff and wait for a couple minutes.

"Mehhhhhhhhh," I groaned as I flicked my hair. Some people decided to snicker at me while walking by. I growled with a slight rasp and got up. Fortunately, I finally made it to the park. I bumped into somebody who was a local at the rink. Their skin... was a pale grey and they were wearing a pair of shades. They reflected the light and made yellow and blue shines on their sunglasses.

"Hey, watch it, bro!" He groaned, getting up. "I-I'm sorry, ahaha- I'm kind of new here, can you show me around?" He looked at me, lowering down his sunglasses. "Yeah bro, will do."

He motioned me to come towards him as I ran towards his figure. He was a little shorter than I was, but that didn't matter. He traced his finger along the rim of the skate rink. "This is the swag rink! It's where you skate... aaand that's pretty much it for this place besides the ramps and stuff."

"Stuff?" I asked politely, shaking my hips. "Like benches and rest stations." He mumbled charmingly. Nine's eyes sparked with joy and he radiated with an elegant aura.

What was so elegant about this person? Was it the fact that he talked like a guy on the streets, or that he was... beautiful? Okay, okay mind, quit it, you literally just met him. However, I felt like I've met him before.

"Y/N?" He asked, my figure jolting up into the air. "H-how'd you know my name?!" I stammered. "I thought I knew your name because didn't we meet last summer, my dude?" Nine spoke, taking off his shades. I got closer to his face and looked down. "Oh right- isn't your name Nine or something?"

He held a thumbs up. "Yeah dude! That's my radi-cool name!"

"Well, uhh, do you want to go somewhere more secluded, so we can chat in privacy?" I grumbled softly.

"Like my cool house?"

I groaned, "Yeah, like your cool house!" I haven't been there since last year, so I'd thought it'd be a good idea to spend some time with him.

"Well, haha, let's go, bro!" He held your hand and started to trot away. Nine's skateboard was with his other hand, bobbing up and down as he skipped away. Gosh, he's so enthusiastic about literally everything. It felt like a couple of seconds before we reached his house. It loomed over me and welcomed me as I stepped inside of the warm, cozy home.

It has changed so much since I've been there last, everything was a lot more neater looking. The only thing that really stood out to my eye was a poster that had Nine's figure on it. He plopped to the couch and started snoring peacefully. "Nine???" I heard a snort before he blinked open his eyes again.

"Haha, sorry dude, just a lil tired!" Nine's eyes were lidded and his face grew redder. He closed his eyes again and I assumed he started dreaming about something. A blanket was covering his lower body, so I sat myself next to him. He started snoring again and I got a little irritated by that, but I kept my composure.

Nine's eyes started squinting and he started to hitch his breath, blushing. I leaned in a little closer and heard him say my name in a raspy tone. "Y/N...~" He moaned out softly, grinning and drooling onto the couch.
