They looked into the ballroom filled with people dancing and drinking, they gulped and walked in. Who knows what kind of people would be in the ballroom. Were there people worse than the lady? Would Lucy find Mr Reaper, will the mysterious boy escape safely?,
Well They'de just have to find out.

As they walked through the crowds of people, Lucy heard a rumbling sound coming from her right side.

"Are you hungry Vadkar?" She asked giggling a bit.

"What, I barely eat anything since my capture" he said blushing slightly. Lucy giggled.

"Then why not try that" Lucy pointed at some cakes lying on the table barely half touched.

"What are these?"

"Have you not seen these cakes before? Well some of them I haven't either but try this one"
as she said that she grabbed a piece of lemon meringue and held it infront of Vadkar, Vadkar stared at it then took it.
" you'll love it" Vadkar stared at it examining the piece of lemon meringue. After seeing that it was harmless he look a bite and his face blushed with the delicious sensation.

"What is this! It's amazing"

"Riiight" she said smiling.

"Here how about this one, and this one and this one" They had both nearly finished the entire table, Vadkar was slowly opening up to her.

"What's that?" Vadkar asked pointing at a piece of steak.

"Is that also cake?"

"No.....that's meat" Lucy said confused,
'he has seen meat before, right?'

"Oh, I can't eat meat yet bec....." Vadkar stopped in the middle of his sentence, he didn't want to say too much. Lucy looked at him suspiciously but brushed it off.

"are you vegetarian?"

"Vegetarian?....What's that?" He asked confused.

"What!" She shouted a bit, that's when a group of people stared at her, she dropped a sweat out of awkwardness.

"Sorry.......I just have a stomach ache" she said with awkwardness, the people looked back at their partners and continued dancing.

"Phew"

"What did you shout for?"

"Are you seriously asking, you don't know what a vegetarian is"

"And?"

"And, everyone knows what that is, were you not a highschooler before you were captured?"

"Highschooler?"

Lucy froze, even though she never went to school at least this kid did, right? Or was there something different going on about him, was he a foreigner? Lucy was very confused, who was this mysterious boy?

"Vadkar, who are you really? are you really from here? And why were you kidnapped and brought to this place?"
Vadkar looked at her with a serious face.

"Ms Lucy, I thought we were only working together this once, I do not wish for you to pry any further and as such I will work by myself" as he said this he walked off into the crowds.

"Wait!" She shouted and ran after him, she pushed through the crowds of people. When she looked left and right in a clearing there was no sign of him.
'great, now I lost him' she thought in frustration. 'why was I so nosey in the first place, stupid me' she thought while holding her head. The frustration of dying and finding out that someone was being sold had finally caught up to her, Lucy was never this nosey before, she was always so anti-social..........

what about now?

"Excuse me, Mr butler" a voice called while tapping her abit. Lucy broke out of her trance, "yes?" She looked up, her eyes widened and her body shivering,

it was her! The lady she saw before.

"Can I please get some wine?"
Lucy was confused and scared at the same time, the place where the lady touched her felt like it was burning, where was this fear coming from!? Lucy didn't know, suddenly it felt like the room turned cold, she felt a cold stare looking towards her, she shot her head up but couldn't pinpoint where the stare was coming from. She was shivering relentlessly,

"Mr butler?" The lady called
"Something wrong?" She leaned in on her face, that's when Lucy got a closer look at her features,
Below her mask, near her right cheekbone was a small mole and another one under her lip. At that moment Lucy got a flood of images run through her mind.

Her head was throbbing with pain, a lady appeared and she was smirking, then she could see small hands with.....
Blood splattered on.

Lucy was on the verge of throwing up, who was this women! Who and where did the stares come from?
Why was she getting these images and what did they mean?

"Mr butler?" The lady reached her hand out and it brushed the surface of her arm, Lucy stumbled back, "I'm s-sorry, I'm just not feeling very good at the moment, did you need something?" She said while her eyes were quivering, she clenched her hair while a bit of sweat dropped down her forehead.

"Y-yes, I asked for some wine, but if your not feeling well...."

"No it's okay! I'll get you some wine, just a moment" Lucy said and scurried away, she needed to get away, away from that lady and the prying stares!
If she stayed there any longer she definitely would have fainted.

In the distance a stranger watched the amusing performance, a smirk formed on the said persons face.
"I've finally found you..........

My pet"

Lucy was feeling awfully dizzy and stumbly.
She saw a table with some drinks and walked over to it. Lucy reached out for a glass of water as she was attempting to drink it her hand wouldn't quite let her as they were were shaking intensely, she even spilled some water on her clothes, Lucy despite being heavily tipsy caught glimpse of something, it was a black top hat. Just like Mr Reapers'! Lucy put the glass down and ran or wobbled after the direction that the hat was moving at.

'Mr Reaper, please don't go this time,
I really need to catch up to him. Even he's better than being anywhere near that women! Even though I won't see her again, why is it that I'm still terrified and uncomfortable,
why is it that I have a bad feeling?,
will I ever bump into her again?'

If the owner of the hat was indeed Mr Reaper then he seemed to have the left the ballroom. She followed after him out the door, Mr Reaper was on the left hallway and turned a corner. Lucy wobbling after him. She turned the corner and lost him.....again

She slumped onto the floor, curling into a ball, her forehead was boiling hot, Why did this always happen, why does she always lose sight of the person she follows?

That's when Lucy heard something.

"You won't get away with this!" a voice shouted, you could hear the venom in the said persons voice.

"Hahaha, I don't think a weak prince like you could do anything about it" Another voice said mocking him.

Lucy just managed to sit up, she used the wall as support and stood up. She slowly walked towards the voices, she peered at the scene leaning on the wall, that's when her eyes widened with shock!

'Vadkar!?'
