(A/N - Hey Everyone! Been a while since I last posted but that's because I had a lack of motivation that is slowly returning to me, meaning I can continue on with this story, which I am happy to do so. I'll also be working on another story, from either Makoto's POV or Maya's.
Have a good day everyone!)

I wake up in an unfamiliar place. Everything was dark, except for a dim light at what seemed to be the centre of the room.

I remember everything. I feel tears stream down my cheeks. My daddy probably hates me now. All because I didn't agree with his vision.

My mind shifts to Makoto. I really want to see her. I really need to feel her embrace.

A sadistic chuckle snaps me out of my trance.
An old man with grey hair and sunglasses stands under the dim light.
"You disappointed your father, Regina. That means you stay here and starve."
I look down. I notice my wrists were bound, and so were my powers.

///

Days have passed. I have been counting the seconds, the minutes. I've been left to my thoughts.
But all I could think about was Makoto, and meeting her friends. Oh Makoto.. I'm so sorry. I should've been honest.. but you would hate me.
"Pull yourself together, Regina." I say to myself.

I had to get out of here. I had to see Makoto.

I close my eyes. My heart begins to beat faster as I think of the idol, as I play her songs in my head. They gave me hope. They gave me..

Freedom.

The binds on my wrists come loose, and I can feel my powers become available to me once more.
I fall to my knees and take a deep breath. I was free.

I don't waste any time. I snap my fingers and I am transported outside Makoto's door.
I hastily knock on the door.

A painful moment passes, and the door eventually opens. I am greeted by Daybi, who seemed to look quite irritated, until she saw the state I was in.
"Oh my gosh... Regina what happened to you?"
I don't know what to say. If I'm honest the door would simply be slammed shut.
"I-I was attacked, on the w-way h-home." I lie through my teeth. I look up to see Makoto's cute face poke around Daybi's body. Her warm smile falters.
"R-Regina... please be honest..." she says quietly.
She knew I was lying..? Damn she's good.

Emotions overwhelm me and I wrap my arms around Makoto, crying in the crook of her neck. She embraces me back and runs her fingers through my dirty, scruffy hair.
"You can tell me anything.. come on. Let's get you cleaned up." The idol mumbles and breaks our embrace. I look down and nod my head.

Daybi sits me at the kitchen table. I turn around to see a cute girl with pink hair in a ponytail.
She looked really cute...
The girl looks at me, and her warm smile changes to that of slight fear.
"Hey, are you okay?" She asks, smiling through her concern. I nod my head.
"I'm Mana Aida.. Makoto's BFF. I'm guessing you're Regina?"
I nod my head.
This was Mana? She's actually really attractive.

Makoto hugs Mana from behind and sets some clothes in front of me.
"I'm running you a bath... dinner is in the oven. Now... can you tell us what happened..?" The idol asks with gentleness.
I take a deep breath and look down.
The fate of my friendship lies in my hands. Lies in these words.

"I— I lied about w-who I r-really am. My father is K-King Mercanere. I used to look up to him, s-see him as a h-hero. On the day I met you, he gave me powers, with the intent of hurting the Precures. I never intended on doing anything of the sort, and I used my powers to get to know this world.
Meeting you was eye-opening.. I've never felt safer, or more at peace, and I got to try many new things.. until I returned home. I was punished and beaten and starved for days. I thought of you, Makoto... and your songs. And then, I was free...
You all probably hate me now..."
