"I'm afraid of losing her"
He said, stared at the ceiling like the white paint would give an answer to his hollow scream.
"Why?"
B asked, like the question itself didn't explain the need for an answer.
"I might fall in love with her"
He said, like he wanted to prove to the world he could develop feelings for her.
(He stared into the darkness of the room. Expecting a shadow to whisper back.)
"Have you ever loved someone?"
B asked, with a very light sense of betrayal laying on the heart.
"No",
heavy breathing hitting B's shoulder.
At that moment, this bed with those blue sheets had the answer to everything nobody dared to ask.
He pulled B closer to his chest,"I am an asshole"
He said. And B closed her eyes, ready to forget everything the next morning.
