'So (Y/N) and Irene are together.' I thought.
The scene in front of me is making my eyes burn. Irene with her arms around (Y/N)'s neck and (Y/N)'s arms around Irene's waist as they're kissing each other.
"Jennie, are you okay?" Kai asked me.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I said.
'My heart hurts right now.' I thought.
They soon pulled away from the kiss and I saw Irene smiling at (Y/N). I looked away from the scene when I felt tears building up in my eyes.
"Let's go" I said to Kai.
"Okay" Kai replied.
The two of us made our way to the library and started reviewing our project.
'I'll ask (Y/N) about her and Irene's relationship later.' I thought.
Later that day...
Me and Kai just finished working on our project.
"It seems like everything is right and in order." I said.
"Great" Kai said.
I packed my stuff and stood up.
"I'll see you tomorrow." I said.
"See you tomorrow." Kai replied.
I then left the library and went to my car. I got in the car and started it before driving home.
At home...
When I got home, I parked my car in the garage before going inside the house.
"I'm home" I announced.
"Living room" I heard (Y/N) reply.
I walked in the living room to find (Y/N) texting someone on her phone. I felt a ping in my heart when I thought about who she was probably texting.
"Hey" I greeted her.
(Y/N) put her phone away and gave me her usually small smile.
"Hey" (Y/N) replied.
"Where's mom and dad?" I asked.
"They're in their room sleeping. They looked really tired when they came home from work today." she said.
"Oh okay. Did you eat yet?" I asked.
"Nope, I waited for you." she said.
"I'll go get changed then." I said.
"Okay" she said.
(Y/N) got up and made her way to the kitchen and I went upstairs to my room. I took a quick shower and wear an oversized shirt and shorts. I then went back downstairs to find (Y/N) happily talking on the phone. She soon noticed me standing there and decided to end the call.
"Hey, I have to go now... Of course, I'm picking you up tomorrow... Okay... Bye Rene. Goodnight." (Y/N) said before hanging up the phone.
'Ah she was talking to her girlfriend.' I thought.
"Hey Jen. Let's eat." (Y/N) said.
"Okay" I said.
We sat across from each other and started to eat.
"You know IU called earlier?" (Y/N) said.
"Really? How is she?" I asked.
"She's fine. She also told me to tell you that she said hi." she said.
