A Host's Love

Goodnight, Sleep Tight, Don't Let The Hikaru Bite

After an amazingly tasty dinner with Hikaru and Kaoru, Haruhi sat on the couch in between Hikaru and Kaoru with them cuddling her jokingly as the television buzzed with noise in the background. Haruhi smiles at how different the Twins were outside of school; they were so loving and sweet.

"So, Hikaru? Kaoru?" Haruhi looks up at them with a smile.

"Yessss?" They both say in unison with huge smiles.

"Why are you guys never like this in school? If people saw you two like this you could probably make more friends." Haruhi pokes both of them with a small laugh.

"We don't trust anyone in the school outside the Host Club, they only want to be our friends for our money or because their parents told them to be nice to us." Kaoru says ruffling her hair looking over at his brother slowly starting to drift away because of Tamaki's phone call.

"They are some even in the Host club i don't trust." Hikaru mutters under his breath so Haruhi wouldn't hear but Kaoru's ears perked up at his brother's harsh words.

"The Host Club is all we have honestly; Our parents are always off on business. They are the only people we can trust. Tamaki took a huge chance on trying to be our friend, we owe a lot to him even if he is stupid but he does care." Kaoru says his eyes dart to Hikaru trying to let Hikaru know Tamaki is only trying to help but Hikaru refuses to believe it, with a small head nod they both kiss Haruhi's cheek.

"I'm not stupid guys, I don't know what Tamaki did but I'm sure he did it out of his heart and didn't mean anything malicious by it." Haruhi says looking at Kaoru and Hikaru.

"Psshhttt, Tamaki is an idiot." Hikaru huffs, Haruhi and Kaoru raise an eyebrow at Hikaru.

"What? He is... I still care for him it's just... He's an idiot..." Hikaru words spill out as Haruhi hugs him. Kaoru sits back alreadying knowing the damage with Tamaki is going to be tough. Haruhi pulls away kissing Hikaru's cheek; Kaoru turn the television up letting the night continue with them all drifting off to sleep laying on each other.

-Later That Night-

Haruhi wakes up with the Twins curled up on each side of her, glancing at the clock she sighs.

"I forgot to change into my pajamas, ugh." She carefully gets up to go get her bag, walking through a maze of hallways she finally gets to the stairs quietly tip-toeing her way to the Twin's room to change.

"Where the hell is the damn lightswitch?" Angrily Haruhi feels around the wall for a light. Haruhi struggles for a couple moments until a sleepy voice startles her from behind.

"Haruhiii, What are you doing at midnight?" The sleepy voice says as it flicks on the lights.

"Oh, Jeez Kaoru you scared me. I forgot to change so i came up to grab my night clothes." Haruhi says cluching her chest from Kaoru scaring her.

"Oh I'm sorry for scaring you. I'm going back down to the couch, if you want you can sleep up here." Kaoru hands Haruhi her bag and leaves the room with sleepy amber eyes and messy hair.

"Thank you Kaoru!" Haruhi whispers as he shuts the door for her to change. She strips her old clothes throwing on her sleep shorts and a tank top crawling into the huge bed, wiggling her way under the covers falling asleep as Hikaru's scent lingered on the blankets.

-Back Downstairs-

Hikaru wakes up when Kaoru flops down on the couch falling back to sleep almost instantly. Hikaru raised a sleepy eyebrow at his brother when he shook him awake.

"Where's Haruhi?" Hikaru asks sleepily rubbing his eyes.

"She went.... tooooo go change, I told her she couldddd sleeeep in our beddd." Kaoru's sleepy words slurred together as Hikaru messed Kaoru's hair up with a quiet laugh.

"Oh, Okay. I'm going to go grab a drink" Hikaru lied but Kaoru was already sleeping again so Hikaru bolted his way to his room with smile. Once he reached his bedroom door; it was shut and with a shakey hand he grabbed the handle turning it revealing a small Haruhi in his bed snoring quietly. His feet shook a little with each step he took until he reached his bed gently climbing in next to Haruhi and out of instinct her arms wrapped around Hikaru cuddling him.

"I love you Haruhi' Hikaru whispers kissing her nose before falling alseep.

"I love you too Hikaru...." Haruhi's sleepy voice answered and they both fell into a deep sleep.
