The Morning Chaos

Haruhi stepped out of the car with the twins closing the door behind her, she sighed heavily before entering into Ouran. Hikaru and Kaoru followed her to the club room chatting to each other as thoughts flew through Haruhi's head; what if Tamaki had known about Hikaru and her? Worse yet, what if Hikaru lets it slip to make Tamaki mad?

"You devilish twins!" Tamaki comes flying over yelling at both Hikaru and Kaoru, they responded as normal with blank expression hiding their chaotic insides.

"We don't know what you're talking about boss." They said in unison very calmly it sent shivers down Haruhi's spine, Hikaru looked over at her as in a silent gesture to ease her nerves about Tamaki finding out. She took that as a cue to leave, walking away she still heard him making a fuss about something he thought he knew.

"How dare you let Haruhi sleep at your house! She is a lady and should not be staying at boys houses overnight! How would her father react to that?" Tamaki yelled angrily and annoyed as Kaoru begins to speak Hikaru cuts him off.

"Her father almost begged us to let her spend the night." Hikaru said as he had a dagger for a tongue, Tamaki deflated as Kaoru shot a glance over to Haruhi who looked just as surprised by Hikaru's harsh words.

"Hika-Chan that wasn't very nice to Tama-Chan" Honey pipes up from behind Mori stepping over to Hikaru, slightly angered by the comment Hikaru turned to Honey and begins to open his mouth as both Kaoru and Haruhi put their hands over his mouth before he had upset Honey. If Honey didn't do anything, Mori would of and the thought of that even scared Haruhi. They walk Hikaru out of the club room.

"We will be right back after we calm him down" Kaoru said dragging Hikaru out with Haruhi following.

"The hell is wrong with you?!" Haruhi yells as soon as the door shuts quietly behind them.

On the other side of the door Tamaki comes out of his easily triggered depression, Kyoya stands silently by Tamaki as he begins to start talking again.

"How dare they try and take my precious Haruhi away." He mumbles as Kyoya shoots him a look of disappointment.

"Honestly Tamaki, we all know your feelings for her so why don't you just finally admit it to yourself?" Kyoya speaks calmly but enough to send a bolt of lighting through Tamaki's body causing him to digress once again. Kyoya sighs walking away sitting down at a table writing in his book as normal. The door opens back up as Hikaru hangs his head with both Haruhi and Kaoru on both sides of him walking him in glancing back at each other then to Tamaki wondering what happened but didn't care enough to ask. Tamaki came back too when Haruhi came back in starting to gush over her but as normal it went right over her head but this time it wasn't her own ignorance it was she was focusing on Hikaru and Kaoru across the room talking very quietly. She wondered what Kaoru was saying to his brother but tried not to pry anymore, she was tired and just wanted to do her school work instead of fussing about a boy, she was not use to this and her chest began to hurt. 'what is this feeling mom?' she thought trying to reach out knowing she wouldn't get an answer but it helped to ask. She felt a tap on her shoulder that she recognized almost instantly, It was Hikaru.

"Listen Haruhi, I'm really sorry about all that..." he says very quietly, it took her off guard, Hikaru never says sorry to anybody. She smiles at him and he smiles back taking that as a sign he didn't screw up too badly.

"It's okay Hikaru, but next time please watch what you say to Tamaki I really don't want trouble while I'm here." She says as Hikaru pulls her into a light hearted hug feeling the glares around the room hitting them. Tamaki begins yelling in the distance quickly silenced by Kaoru and Kyoya pulling him away.

"I love you Haruhi..." Hikaru whispers into her ear, she feels his warm breathe before her mind can even understand the words uttered to her by only her father; unsure how to react he begins to speak again.

"You don't need to say it back I just wanted you to know" Again in a whisper he speaks clearly still taken away by shock Haruhi freezes as Hikaru smiles at her pulling away from the hug.
