𝙽𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝𝚖𝚊𝚛𝚎 [𝙺𝚎𝚗𝙷𝚒𝚗𝚊] ☁️

This one shot goes out to @_jaylen_luv_ , I hope it's okay! I've never written KenHina before, so I'll try my best! (btw after looking at some fics about the two I like the ship a lot more, I think they're adorable-) ^^

Hinata awoke to the sound of faint mumbling and stirring, making him mumble a little as he opened his eyes to find the source of all of it. Low and behold it was none other than his boyfriend, Kozume Kenma.

Hinata furrowed his brows and rubbed his eyes as he looked down, Kenma looked visibly disturbed, a pout on his face and small tears pricking the corners of his eyes.

"Kozu..? Kozu you okay..?" Hinata mumbled as he got a closer look at Kenma, only to see he was still asleep, was he having a nightmare..?

"Sho.. w-wait.." Kenma whimpered a little as a few tears rolled down his cheeks, he stirred a little more, causing Hinata to sit up, looking at Kenma with a concerned look.

"Don't g-go.." Kenma turned a little, his expression only becoming a bit more panicked as Hinata shook him a little.

"Kozu? Kozu wake up." Hinata still tried to wake him but nothing, until..

"N-No!" Kenma shouted as he shot straight up in bed, bringing his knees to his chest as he cried, he felt like he couldn't breathe, he  just woke from a nightmare that felt so real it hurt.

"Hey- Kozu what happened? It was just a nightmare, whatever it was, it wasn't re-" Hinata cut himself off feeling Kenma pull him into a tight hug, which was odd as Kenma wasn't one to do that often.

And Hinata only felt more unsettled when Kenma went on to cry into his shoulder, mumbling something about a break up, and how Hinata had left him behind, it hurt to hear but Hinata had to make sure Kenma knew it was all just a dream.

"Hey Kozu, look at me.." Hinata spoke softly and waited for Kenma to take a small breath and pull back, his eyes just barely meeting Hinata's. Before Kenma could let his thoughts panic him again, Hinata leaned in and placed a soft kiss on Kenma's lips, a small gesture that was so loving.

Hinata placed a hand on Kenma's cheek and soon felt Kenma's hand on top of his as he pulled away, finally meeting those gold eyes he loved so much.

"Everything's okay Kozu, I'm still here with you and that's not gonna change, okay?" Hinata gave Kenma a sweet yet soft smile, one he just had to trust. So he nodded, smiling a little himself.

"Good, now let's lay back down, it's still early and we've got school today." Kenma nodded, letting Hinata give him a kiss on the forehead before laying down, eventually taking Kenma with him.

Kenma smiled a little more feeling Hinata pull him close, and in response he wrapped his arms around him. Taking a deep breath as he closed his eyes. Kenma didn't know how easy it would be to fall asleep at first, but when he felt Hinata start combing through his hair with his hand, it made things a lot easier. And to add that little cherry on top, Hinata went on to mumble sweet little things that he loved about Kenma ever so softly.

Even the worst of times with you, are still like a dream to me..
