Chapter 14

"F*ck."

The female curses under her breathe with an irritated dark expression on her face.

"I'm bored."

She gets the remote beside her and turns up the volume of her tv while she takes her phone on her other side.

"B*tches went to Disneyland to have fun."

She spoke with a scowl on her face.

"And to celebrate something...I wasn't listening to Daniel, so whatever."

You let out a sigh as you miss your noisy friends inside your apartment while take a drink outside of your fridge.

"I could've come along with them.."

You quietly spoke with your head down.

"But my laziness got the best of me."

She deadpans to herself while walking towards back to the living room.

"So I'm completely at fault here."

She deadpans once more to herself then takes a sip of her drink.

"I'll just wait for the day for them to fill this place up again."

You said as you lay your body down on the couch.

"It's so f*cking quiet.."

BAM!

"WHAT THE F*CK!"

You screamed out of shock as your body jolted up from the couch.

"Language, missy!"

A woman said while entering the room.

"It's English, Mom."

You bluntly replied back as she made her way towards you.

"You dare talk like that to your mother!"

She shouted, her hand raised.

"Rude child!"

Your mother starts to hit your back.

"Who taught you that, huh?!"

She continues to hit your back while you start to laugh, then soon stops to hear your response.

"It was self-taught."

You replied in a serious manner, along with an expression.

"Ow! Ahahahaha."

She hit you one more time, but this time it was your head.

"Mom! You can't hit my head. I might get dumb."

You deadpan while she stares at you with a blank expression, making you to snicker.

"Anyways, what brings you here so suddenly?"

You ask while offering her something to drink which she simply just refused.

"I called Jamie."

You flinched and started to avoid eye contact as you take a sip from your drink.

"She said that you refused to hang out with them today because you said that you were busy."

She said with a smile which resulted for you to sweat bullets.

"I don't see you doing anything besides lazing around."

For some reason, you felt small..er.

As your mother talked with a smile on her face, that's making you shaken up a bit.
