Taehyung just finished work late at night and he looked around the office room.
He remembered Jennie said she would be back later today, so he decided to text and ask her if she wanted him to pick her up.
He sent the text and waited for a reply before sending another one.
"Hmm that's weird... she never turns off her phone. She usually either replies or seen zones with in a minute" he says before he starts spamming texts.
This was when he started to feel a little uncomfortable with the absence.
He tried calling her but she wouldn't pick up.
He just sighed.
"I'll just check where she is. No harm in doing that Right?" He said sighing as he got his stuff into the car and put on her phones location.
He drove past multiple streets and buildings, away from the central city to the outskirts area.
"Where the fuck is she." He said as he looked around before stopping at one final building.
He got out and saw the sign.
"Rent a studio"
He just looked at it confused before stepping in.
The lights were either off or lit very dimly, so he used his flashlight on his mobile phone to navigate around.
He opened multiple doors to find them locked so as he started down a final hallway he could hear a light music type of sound.
He opened the door to find a dancing figure in the dark.
Epitomised much.
She was gracefully dancing, ballet it looked like as she wore her shoes not even noticing his presence there.
Not a care in the world at that very moment, is what it seemed like to be in her world.
Taehyung sighed in relief to see she was well, not knowing what he was expecting.
He leaned against the doorframe and watched her dance.
Her spins and her jumps, landing on her feet then going right on her toes, may seem light as a feather and ever so gentle,
But to a dancer, it's pain. You know the phrase that goes, there's beauty in pain?
That's what it's like for dancers. No matter the pain they make it beautiful.
After a few minutes the song stopped and she ended and sat on the floor taking her shoes off.
The room was dimly
Lit, most of the light coming from the moonlight as it shone through the big window. The moonlight cast on her figure that was hunched on the floor taking her pointe shoes off.
Red shoes.
It seemed like they were made for her and he couldn't imagine her in any other.
Like they were the perfect fit for her.
She finally stood up and froze at the figure at the door.
"Chill it's me. I didn't know if you wanted me to pick you up so I'm here" he says approaching her.
"Oh."
She simply replied to his reasoning. She was not in her fiery mood at the moment.
Jennie felt calm and soft, no longer her diminishing attitude that made everyone quiver sometimes.
Right now she was her.
Emotional you could say, and even feeling weak.
Taehyung at that moment just wanted to hug her, have her in his arms so he could reassure her.
Just hold her to let her know everything's fine.
Protect her.
It may seem like toxic masculinity but it's really not that.
It was just in the moment, she seemed in need of someone there to hold her.
And he wanted to be that someone.
"Come on let's go home" he says and she nods taking her bag on her shoulder.
"Did you call me? And even text me?" She says looking at the notifications that she purposefully silenced for peace.
"Sure sure. Just come on" he says walking out to which she just follows.
"One second" she says halting at the changing rooms.
"Let me change. I'll be right out"
He nods and waits at his car.
She comes out soon, dressed simply in a jacket and her normal clothing under.
A t shirt and jeans.
Paired with some converse.
She got inside the passenger seat of the all too familiar white car as they rode back to their shared accommodation.
They bid goodbye to each other once again as they reached the parting of the stairs.
Jennie stepped into her room and put her things in the proper drawers.
It was around 10:30 pm at night, so she quickly showered before laying in bed.
She tossed and turned around in bed, and she couldn't end up falling asleep.
Taehyung on the other hand was busy reading a book, since he couldn't fall asleep either.
As he was peacefully staring a dead piece of a tree and hallucinating, well in normal terms reading a book, a knock came at his door.
It opened slightly as a small head poked through.
"Taehyung. Are you asleep?" She whisper called.
"Ani. Come in"
He replied as she came through. He put his book away and sat on his bed.
"Did you need something" he asked to which she awkwardly stood there, in front of his bed.
"Well, I couldn't really fall asleep... and so I thought, well that, you would, no you might be awake, and that since I couldn't sleep you could maybe be company?" She asked like a little kid to which he chuckled and patted the bed space in front of her.
She smiled like a little kid before sitting there.
"So why couldn't you sleep?" She asked as he faced her.
She was sitting with her chin in her knees, as her feet were on the bed.
Her arms wrapped around her legs as she sat there hunched looking out the window.
"I don't know, what about you?" I asked.
"I don't really know. I mean this happens sometimes but there's really no reason as to why" she said as he nodded, still looking at her.
His gaze was locked on her figure, as he stared at her.
Once more, it's like he forgot how she looked no matter how many times he'd stared at her.
It just wasn't enough.
One look and you get pulled in.
She's addicting.
