Jennie woke up as the sun light flashed into her eyes.

She looked to the side to see a sleeping Taehyung there and smiled.

She brushed some hair of his forehead before getting up to prepare some food.

Breakfast I guess.

Taehyung however woke up around twenty minutes later, and was surprised to see that Jennie was gone from his side.

He got up and took some clothes and slipped them on , brushed his teeth, before heading downstairs to find a small figure in his oversized shirt.

He smiled at the sight of her with her messy morning hair still up and cooking.

He silently went behind her and circled his arms around her waist, surprising the hell out of her.

"Yah Kim Taehyung"
She says giggling.

That warmed his heart.

He lowered his head, scrunching down as he buried his face in the crook of her neck.

"Want breakfast?" She asked turning off the stove facing him.

"Mhm" he replied looking right back at her.

She smiled at him as he pushed a strand of hair behind her ear.

"So we are together right?"
He asks.

"We are" she confirms smiling.

"Then I can do this" he says as Jennie looks confused before yelping in surprise.

He takes her by the waist and lifts her onto the counter before  locking his lips with her.

She in response smiled into the kiss and begins kissing back wrapping her arms around him.

They pull away and smile.

"Now go eat before we're late for work" she says smacking his chest playfully as he chuckled and nods.

They eat breakfast and make their way outside to the car to get  in and drive to work, however this time Taehyung wasn't oblivious to the eyes that watched them enter the car.

But he knew better than to engage.

But the pair of eyes again responded.

"Target locked. She does live with him. They drove away right know. The target seems very close to him already"

As Taehyung drove he made sure Jennie didn't know something was wrong

He didn't take the driver today, thought it was better for the two of them to go.

He held her hand in his free hand as he smiled at the feeling.

Still the thought from earlier didn't leave his mind.

Who was he?

That's what went across but he pushed it back, because at the moment he wanted to enjoy himself.

They arrived at the company as Jennie walked out not taking his hand.

They smiled at each other as they walked and made it to the elevator bay as she briefed him on what was happening.

They entered the elevator as she was busy on her tablet but quickly got snapped when two hands landed on her waist and pushed her against the wall of the elevator.

"Y-Yah! Taehyung we're at work!" She exclaimed holding his arm.

"I know" he whispered right into her ear making her nerves go insane.

He pressed his lips to hers suddenly for a mere second before pulling away.

"That was too short. I'd rather have you for longer" he says as he steps back and she was still frozen.

"Do that again and I'll make sure you die in my hands alone" she threatens.

"And how do you plan on doing that?" He counters.

"I have my plans" she says smirking and winking as the doors opened and she steps out, his face still red at the sudden wording.

He immediately composed himself and walks out as well, following her figure to his office.

On the way however he spots Namjoon and signals him over.

"There was a situation this morning. I think there's someone targeting me. They were at my house entrance" he explains with a serious tone as Namjoon nods.

He goes into his office as he begins his work.

Meetings, contracts, calls,. There's a lot to it.

As he was working he took a 15 minute break to look out, and he saw her instructing a bunch of junior staff directions and orders.

He saw how she was clean and stern with them and was brutally honest. She was scolding a staff for messing up and important date.

To be honest it wasn't too important as she set up
Another timing in less than 15, but this was just to educate their mistakes.

They were dealing with a contractor issue.

Someone was refusing to sign the label.

Within 15 minutes she got it sorted with instructions and being precise, and everything was resolved along with the legal issues which she, he didn't even know how resolved.

They sighed as the big issue was gone and took a break as well, seeing it was already later than their lunch break.

She let them go now as long as they promised to come back soon and all the other staff that came upstairs left to go to their lunch.

She sighed and rotated her shoulders as she got another phone call and immediately left to go somewhere else for work.

Taehyung exasperated leaning against the desk but looked over as his phone received a text.

Jimin: we're coming to your office for lunch. We got your favourite! Tteokbaki!

He just rolled my eyes at their antics before they soon burst through his doors one by one. It was a quite private space in the company so no one could really see them.

They began opening the boxes and setting up paper plates to distribute the food and eat.

"Where's unnie?" Lisa asked noticing that one was missing holding the plate up.

"She was seen going downstairs to another department for some type of emergency. Not sure what. I asked her when she'd join and she said in 10" hobi said and they all Nodded continuing to eat.
