"I'm sorry but she didn't make it"

Those words are what hit him in the chest the hardest.

It felt like his world was coming to a standstill.

"Wh-what do you mean she didn't make it? Y-you're joking right? Right?!" Jisoo exclaimed falling on her feet as the other girls sobbed harder.

"So she's dead? That's it?"

"That can't be true. She promised. She promised she'd always be here" Taehyung said as tears rolled down his cheeks.

"I'm sorry for your loss" he said leaving.

The organisation hospital could be heard with sobs echoing down hallways.

"C-can we see her?" Rosé asked desperately as he hesitated before nodding.

We go into the room, and there she was laying on the bed.

Everyone starts bidding their goodbyes sobbing or crying.

They've known her so long after all.

They were ushered out finally for procedures.

Around a day after her death, taehyungs parents went to collect the body as none of the others could.

His mom was still in tears however as she really liked the young girl.

When she went to the doctor however,

"The body has already been collected by the guardian. He said he would host a private funeral and since he's the guardian legally we obliged" he explained as the two looked at each other and sighed.

None of them would even get to bid goodbye.

2 years later

It had been two years since the death of Jennie.

Every time as a death anniversary for 6 months, 1 year and today for 2 years from her death, they would all go to a memorial hall where they placed a few of her belongings as her final memory.

They never forgot about her, she was one of the biggest people in their lives.

Today they were all in a restaurant.

Ever since her death, everyone tried to move on.

Taehyung was slowly moving on and going on blind dates.

They went there to the memorial hall to talk with her.

"Hey Jen.. we still remember you. I hope you're doing good up there. We love you."

"Unnie. I miss my hot girl working with us. But I know you're watching over us. We're sorry we weren't able to come say our final goodbyes but I hope you understood. It's been two years and we're all moving on. We still love you and miss you."

"Jennie Yah, you shouldn't have been gone this way. But now that you are, well we will remember you in good memories. Hope you're watching over us"

It was taehyungs turn finally.

Annyeong Jennie Yah. I still wear the promise ring we had. Thank you for everything you did for me all these years. You were the best person to exist. I'm sorry that you have to be gone this way and I'm sorry your send off wasn't by us. We all still love you and miss you a lot. However, I'm finally moving on. I shouldn't be hung over you till now and I know you wouldn't like that too. I'm 25 now. I'm going on dates and so I think it's finally time that I move on. And I'm actually doing it because they all gave me strength. We all still love you and miss you. Thank you for everything.

They all exited the memorial that day with a smile.

"You did good Taehyung-ah" Jimin said as they smiled at each other before parting ways.

Although Jennie would be missed, she wouldn't be forgotten. This is just continuing their lives by not forgetting.
