CHAPTER 43: Journey in the Forest

"Im so tired- Haaaa... Let's r-rest... for a while Saint..." Perth was panting so hard when they reached the highest part of the land. He dropped himself weakly as he laid down on the grassy ground to take some rest. He feels like he was about to pass out again.

"B-Better..." Saint did the same thing and laid down beside his young boyfriend on the ground. They are both exhausted from walking too far because seems like they are walking endlessly. They've been walking for almost 3 hours now.

Yes, this is another day!

The couple spent their night together sleeping under the big tree near the pond. Saint collected some banana leaves and made it as their mat and they cuddled and hugs each other the whole night.

And when they woke up this morning, Saint quickly checked up his young boyfriend's condition and he's glad that Perth is getting better and better. He was so worried for him lastnight because Perth had a slight fever because of the wound on his head that Saint didn't even know where he got. But now, fortunately, he's better.

Perth can finally moved his body as usual and he can finally walk and joke around like he always do. Saint was happy and surprised at the same time knowing that Perth is gaining his normal strength so fast. Amazing!

So when they both finally feeling better, they both decided to start the long journey to search the way back to the campsite. They never lost hope that sooner or later, they will find the way and both of them will comeback alive and see their friends again. Because they both believe that when they are together - with love - they can face and survive all the challenges in life. Love is stronger than anything else in the world.

Right now, the couple are resting in silence - no one is talking - and both are looking up in the blue sky with their head resting on their arms. Their breath finally came back to normal. The relaxing sound of nature and the tender touch of the wind passing through them are like a lullaby that can make them calm and sleepy. It's very relaxing to the feelings!

Sighing, the younger one can't take the silence any longer so he turns his head to the side and looked at the pretty man beside him as he asked, "Are we going to walk around the whole Island just to find that fucking campsite?"

Saint softly chuckles as he also looked at him. "Do we have another choice? Can you fly? Can you teleport?"

Perth already knew the answer for that questions so he could only took another sigh as he looked back at the blue sky being hopeless now.

"Yeah, we don't have another choice and it's tiring. But what if we didn't make it? What are we going to do? This Island is fucking too big and wide! It will take us forever."

"Well, all we have to do is to think positive, Perth. We have to try our best. We can't give up so easily because we are both in a situation where we need to be strong and brave. And im sure, Uncle Chen and Aunt Pae are also doing their best to find us. So don't lose hope, Perth. Im here."

"Thank you, Saint." Perth could only smiles to that as he presses down a gentle kiss on Saint's forehead.

After that, they both fell into silence once again as they both looked up to the blue sky. It didn't take long when Saint turned his head back to Perth and stared at his boyfriend's handsome face with a smile. He can't stop adoring and complementing his manly beauty - the charming eyes; the pointed nose; the perfect shape of his face; and those cute kissable lips.... But those smile suddenly disappeared on Saint's face when the series of past memories flashes back on his mind.
