CHAPTER 39: When the Nightmare Comes to Life

The clouds are very dark. The lightning and loud thunders are rumbling in the sky. Not long after, the heavy rains started to pour down on earth like there is a storm coming.

But down there, in the middle of the forest, there are two boys who are being unbothered despite of the bad weather. They keep playing like a little kids paddling in the rain.

"P'Saint! P'Saint! Catch me if you can!" Perth exclaimed excitedly and run away from Saint.

Saint laughed and run to chase him. "Im coming!!!"

The two boys are happily playing and running around the forest, around the big trees and bushes chasing each other.

But all of a sudden, the wind became so strong forming a tornido and takes the younger man.

"P'Saint help!!!" Perth shouts reaching out his hand to Saint but Saint was already late to save him.

The tornido takes Perth on the cliff. Luckily, he managed to grip on the grass so he did not fall. But his full body is hanging on the cliff, only the hand which is holding the grass tightly was the only reason why he's still alive.

Saint follows him wherever the strong wind takes him and there... he found him struggling and fighting between life and death.

"Perth! Perth!" Saint calls his name as he kneeled down at the edge of the cliff. While shaking, he reaches out his hand to him. "Hold my hand Perth and don't let go..."

Saint tried to reach Perth's hand but he can't. If he do, he might fall first before the younger man.

Perth looked up at him, worried. "Don't... Step back P'Saint. P-Please... don't save me anymore."

Saint looked at him in disbelief, tears started to form in his eyes.

"What are you saying Perth? Shut up! N-No... I can't. I-I won't leave you... I'll save you. Please stay...."

Saint insisted and tried to reach his hand again but he was failed. The tears started to fall from his eyes as the rain washes it away.

"Aaargghhh..." Perth groaned, he want to give up now because he was already tired. "Saint... let me go. I can't take it anymore. Please let me go..."

"No... No... No Perth..." Saint shakes his head as he can't be able to hold back his emotion any longer and cry. "Please stay with me... Don't leave me Perth. S-S-Stay... I can't live without you... Do you hear me? I-I can't live my life without you..."

And because the rain was still heavy that time, the soil gets softened and softened that makes Saint's knee slipped and he almost fall. Because of that, Perth got worried even more. He is not afraid for himself to fall but he is afraid for Saint. What if he fall? No, Perth won't accept that. He won't allow that to happen.

"Please Perth... Don't leave P'Saint na..." Saint begs sobbing hard.

Perth feels like his heart was cut into million pieces seeing the love of his life in this worst kind of situation. He want to wipe away his tears but he can't. He want to hug and comfort him but he can't. Perth can't do anything right now to stop Saint from crying. Well, there is only one way he think that is better to do... for the both of them.
