CHAPTER 14: Nightmare

The clouds are very dark. There's a strong lightning followed by the loud thunders rumbling in the sky. The wind is not that yet strong but its a sign that there is a storm coming. Not long after, the heavy rains starts to fall on the land.

Down there, in the middle of the forest, there was a two young man who are in a deep trouble right now. Not just a trouble, but its a battle between life and death.

"Perth please ," Saint begged. The rain was heavy but the tears are visible on his eyes. It keeps falling down on his cheeks like a river. "Hold me tight... Don't let go..."

Saint was already tired but he's trying his best to hold Perth's hand tightly to avoid the younger man falling in a cliff. One of his hand was holding Perth's hand while the other one ,holding the small trunk of a plant for his dear life. His feet pushing the rock so he won't fall with Perth. Saint felt like his body was about to rip apart but he doesn't want to let go. No, never.

"Saint please," Perth was also begging to him. He looked up at the older man who was in trouble holding him back from falling. His whole body hanging from the cliff, only the hand was the caused of interruption of his nearly death. "Let me go na Saint... I don't want you to die with me. I want you to live so please..."

"No, no Perth..." Saint shook his head immediately. He doesn't like Perth's idea. "No one will die," Saint sobs. "You will stay with me, we will live together... I won't let you go, Perth."

Perth's heart was aching too much seeing the older man crying and being in pain. He want to wipe Saint's tears but he can't.

"I love you Saint," Perth's tears fell from his eyes slowly. "I want you to remember always that Perth love P'Saint so much. Even you won't see me anymore ,Perth always here with you ,I'll be your guardian angel. So please... let Perth go na, Saint."

Perth was afraid to die but he can't endure the pain seeing the love of his life being in too much pain because of him. He want Saint to live. So now, he already accepted his faith.

"Please don't go ," Saint cried holding Perth more. "I love you too so don't leave P'Saint na, Perth. You know i can't live without you, please don't go!"

"And i love you more, Saint." Perth smiled in pain, his heart was broken. "Im doing this because i love you. I don't want you to risk your own life just because of an idiot man like me. I want you to be happy, Saint."

"Stop talking Perth!" Saint yelled trying to pull Perth up with all his might, with all the strength left in his body. But then, it's not working. "I will save you... I'll never let you go ,Perth."

This action caused him to lose balance and slipped. Since it was raining hard,  the ground softened and became slippery. Luckily, Saint was holding tightly on the plant or else they're already both fell in a cliff and died together.

"Saint..." Perth called the older man's name softly, more on a
whispering tone.

"Aaaarrrggghhh...." Saint didn't give up and tried to pull Perth up once again. Saint looked up in the gloomy sky praying, hoping and asking for a help... just a little bit help. The tears still keeps falling from his eyes washed away by the rain.

"Aaaaaahhh !!!" Saint shouts pulling Perth up with all the best as he can to save the important person in his life, the half part of his heart.

"Saint..." Perth called out his name once again, he cried watching Saint in silence. Perth can't endure it anymore. Perth was hurt seeing Saint in that kind of situation. He don't want to be selfish.

"Enough Saint..." Perth stopped him. He looked at Saint's eyes deeply, sad and pleading. "I love you but... goodbye."

The last drop of Perth's tears fell from his eyes as he pulled off his hand from Saint and............ he fell.
