Making Love At The River Bank

chapter 4

Eliza and I finally finish eating out dinner. I have to admit the dinner was very delicious and it was served on a wooden plate.

Eliza brought me a cup of  cow milk. She told me it was just milked from the cow and that sounded cool.

Eliza was also drinking her cup of milk on the mat. I finished drinking before her and I got up to headed to my hut.
I checked my wrist watch and it was 8pm , I wondered where Zak was.

And since there was no network there I couldn't call him.  I decided to watch the photos I took today as I waited for zak to come.

I was scrolling down until i reached the latest photos i took. Liza's naked body stared at me, when I was taking this photos her back was facing my direction so the photos I had taken were those of her back body.

She had a slim waist and had the desired hips. Her legs were long and she had anklets on her ankles. Her anklets were african designed and I had never seen such anklets.

I felt guilty for taking this photos but the guilt was overpowered by some strange feeling.

Some minutes later zak came into the room. He asked if I was still alive while chuckling and we both laughed  about it.

After a long night chat we both slept in our respective beds and the beds were soo comfortable.

I woke up to the sound of chirping birds the next morning , small amount of sun rays were getting in through the wooden window. I looked over to Zak's bed and he was still sleeping.

I checked my watch and it was almost 6 in the morning , i don't know why I got up soo early in the morning.

I put on my slippers, slowly opened the door and stepped outside, closing the door behind me.

I saw some bunch of kids taking heards of cattle from various compounds , they are taking the animals to graze obviously.

Women were busy lighting wood for cooking breakfast . It felt like the whole village was awake.

I got stares from everyone after they noticed me , I waved at bunch of people in the compound. Zak's mom was still staring at me with dagger eyes , she then fixed her eyes to my legs that's when I realized I was only in my shorts and vest. I felt stupid .

I went inside the hut with a lightening speed and I heard some laughters when I closed the door. I knew i made a fool out of myself.

After about an hour of laying on the bed a decided to freshen up, I took my toothbrush and toothpaste and wore a towel on my waist. I headed towards the latrine and the compound was pretty empty.

I wore a blue shirt and a regular jeans after freshening up . Zak was still sleeping as usual. I kinda wished he would go out of the village today because I really wanted to be around Eliza.

I came out with my camera and decided to explore the village in my on this time. It was barely 9 in the morning but the African sun was already burning me.

After i got out of the compound , some kids started shouting and they all ran to me. They kept checking me out and I could do nothing but smile at them. One of the kids grabbed my hand and put his wounded hand next to mine . He said something and all the kids burst out laughing.

I then got the joke since the kid's wound resembled my skin color, they probably thought I was a skinned person walking.
I continued with my exploration after the kids finally left me alone.

I then came across a large farm where alot of crops were growing, i took some photos and kept moving on. A lady with a basket on her head gave me a weird look and then she looked at the camera. She was wondering why i was taking photos of the farm but i have never seen a farm in my life so let me do what I want .

I continued walking until I reached the grazing grounds. Almost all the teen boys were here. They were wrestling amongst themselves. Two boys were wrestling and the others surrounded them yelling and cheering.
