new feeling | kageyachi

incident

yachi could feel his warm breath lightly tickle her ear and cheek.

oh my god he is so close up we are practically way past space boundaries! thought yachi

kageyama lingers for a second then backs up and slightly smirks watching how easily he flustered the girl.

"s-sure let's head over there if you'd like!" yachi managed to squeak out.

after saying that she quickly gathered all her school materials and pressed them up against her chest. she looks over to kageyama and assures him that she will lead the way to the library.
so yachi leads the way to the library all nervous and fidgety after what kageyama did back there. yachi was skipping to the library and just as she was about to turn right she tripped on something. it was bound to happen anyways she was so distracted and clumsy.

all her materials that were held closely to her chest scattered everywhere on the school floor and yachi was about to go down with it all as she let out a yelp. however kageyama reacts quickly and yanks yachi back by the wrist before her delicate doll face could meet the disgusting school floors. yachi feels his rough hand somewhat tight around her thin wrist and immediately feels her cheeks get hot.

"i-i thank you kageyama kun!" she mumbles out without being able to look him in the eyes.

"it's nothing are you okay? did anything hit you or something??..."

"no it really is fine thank you so much I should be more careful."

"no it wasn't really you're fault I should have looked out better for you..." he said almost whispering the last part

then suddenly kageyama lifts her small chin up and checks the sides of her delicate face.

yachi at this point was dying inside she seriously couldn't believe how touchy he was it made her all red because no one has ever touched her like that.

"i-i was just checking for injuries you know yeah..." said kageyama quickly as he stopped touching her chin.

really it was just an excuse to touch her and get a better look at her face features.

"yes thank you! you really don't have to I'm fine." said yachi without being able to meet his eyes. she was clearly nervous as nobody had ever touched her like that before.

there was a small silence between them after that and then they both went down to pick up all the scattered materials on the floor. after that was all done they suddenly realized their little incident took way to long because now the library was closed.
