new feeling | kageyachi

mall

the next morning comes by. the sun's golden beams peer in through the window's of yachi's room making it glow. her small figure laid there in a strange position sleeping soundly with a bit of drool down her chin. she was always moving around and never staying still when sleeping.

some time passes and now she begins to wake up. her blonde hair is and frizzed up from the back and she is dressed in striped pajamas. yachi starts to yawn and slowly stretches her arms as a way of waking up.

still stretching she suddenly jolts up when she hears a ringing sound in her room. it was her phone dancing around on her desk waiting to be picked up. someone was calling her. yachi immediately went to it and picked it up. y/n was calling her.

from the other side of the phone was y/n speaking in a cheery loud voice,

"goood morningg hitoka chan!! are you up already?"

yachi still half asleep responded to y/n with a hint of tiredness in her voice,

"mhmm yeah im up..."

her voice trails off. y/n then responds with a snarky tone,

"you know i can totally tell you just woke up ahah..."

yachi doesn't say anything back.

y/n then continues on saying,

"anyways you know how our little sudy session got interrupted yesterday-"

yachi now interrupts her by quickly saying,

"ah yeah so sorry about that again!..."

"oh its no worries im so over that but to make up for it I was thinking if you would maybe uh come t-to the shopping mall with me?..."

its silent for a while until yachi responds in a happy tone,

"oh my god yeah that sounds like so much fun! to make up for yesterday right?!"

"yeah totally great! i knew you would say yes! okay so see i guess i'll see you there around uh the afternoon maybe?"

"yeah that works! if I ask my mom she'd probably let me go. also, which mall is it? there is like so many in our area!"

"don't play dumb hitoka im talking about the super popular one, you know the one thats kinda fancy and always packed with people?!"

feeling like she was just slapped in the face yachi meekly responds,

"ah yeah I know that mall I've been there with my mom before for her clothes shopping."

"cool so uh get ready or whatever and meet me up there 'kay?"

"mhmm"

they both hang up and begin to get ready. yachi was pretty excited to go since she has never gone out with a friend like this before. smiling to herself she begins to walk over to her closet when suddenly her phone begins to ring again. yachi begins to think that,

it must be y/n again eek! maybe she forgot to tell me something or what if she suddenly decides to cancel it??!

Yachi hurriedly takes her phone and goes to answer it. But it wasn't y/n calling. this time the contact name read, tobio♡

blushing, she takes the call and starts off with,

"ah good morning tobio! how was your sleep?!"

"i-it was fine thanks for asking,-"

yachi then noticed that he was panting in between words. so she asks,

"tobio are you okay did something happen?! why are you panting so much?!"

kageyama quickly responds now in a clearer tone,

"oh i was just out for a morning jog is all. I just finished up and was thinking about taking you out on a date later today..."

yachi felt as her cheeks flushed up. she thought it was cute that he was thinking about her. she responded saying,

"ah I would love to but, I made plans with y/n chan to go to the shopping mall..."

"well then have fun wit-"

yachi interrupted him quickly speaking,

"no but you can come too!! wait yeah you should come with us too! ah but you should bring a friend or someone for y/n or else she would be third wheeling!"

"..."

"wah nevermind then I knew it was too much! okay well-"

kageyama stops her and says,

"no i think its a good idea of yours. don't worry i'll find someone to bring along for your friend I guess..."

"really? eek im so happy!! this is gonna be so much fun! were going to be at the popular well known shopping mall by the way! oh wait i'll send directions!"

"uh okay see you there then. bye."

"yeah bye!"

they both end the call and yachi happily begins to send all the details to kageyama. she also begins to text y/n about bringing kageyama and all. kageyama on the other hand didn't really want to go...

but he decides to tag along just for yachi. even if he doesn't like shopping or crowds very much. he only wanted to go out alone with yachi but this also works he thought to himself. then he suddenly remembered about bringing a friend. a scowl formed on his face as he realized who his only option to bring along was...

letting out a dramatic sigh he begins find his contact and call hinata to inform him.

hinata answers almost immediately and starts off loudly,

"gooooddd morning kageyama kun! wow you called first this time thats new! anyways what did you call for? also did you have breakfast yet? I just ate this really good breakfast that I found online! its like for sport players its supposed to make you have loads of energy and-"

"i wasn't asking about that dumbass. but uh send the recipe i guess..."

"well then what did you call me for? did you just want-"

"shh just listen. you have to come with me to some mall with hitoka and her friend. the mall thats usually crowded and is all fancy. just don't ask and come around noon."

"oouu the mall? why are we shopping for something special? also should i wear something fancy? ah also you called yachi san by her first name are you two da-"

kageyama has ended the call.

he ended up texting hinata the details.
