Alanora's POV:
My lungs were on fire as the sun began to set. I had been running for hours and I felt my legs giving up as my strides became sloppier. It almost felt like the wall ahead was nothing but a dream as I pushed on with the last of my energy.
Collapsing in front of the gate I wheezed for air and my throat felt like it was frozen from the cold. The only thing keeping me awake was the sound of shouting and the doors to the wall opening up.
"What happened?" Ser Daavos yelled helping me out of the snow.
"I need a raven now." I wheezed as him and another wildling hauled me into Eastwatch.
Dany come now with the dragons. We were surrounded and their only hope for escape is you. I ran to the wall as quickly as possible and I hope there is still time when you get this. Come to the wall and hurry. It was all true.
Your sister, Nora
The last thing I remembered was passing out on the table and I felt a blanket being wrapped around me.
"Wake me soon... I have to go help her." I mumbled before letting my eyes close.
Ser Daavos woke me what I think was only a couple of hours later.
"You shouldn't be going back out there. Let your sister handle it." He urged me as I stood up.
"I have to. Dany might think she's smart but she's not as smart as me when it comes to things like this. There's a better chance if we're both in the air, and I have to show her where they are." I breathed out. "Take me to the top of the wall." I ordered. My steps were slow as I made my way to the top of the wall.
"She should be here soon." I looked over at the old knight.
"How do you even know she will come?" He asked gravely.
"She'll come." I whispered.
We stood silently and looked out over the wall. I was finally starting to feel like myself again as we waited. Soon the roars of dragons filled my ears and to the South I could see them flying towards us.
"Rhaegal ālion!" I yelled to the green and bronze dragon above me. He swooped down and landed harshly on the wall as I raced to climb onto him.
"Alanora what happened?" Dany yelled to me as I flew up to meet her.
"It's all true Dany! Every bit of it! We don't have much time I need you to follow me!" I screamed back at her and ordered Rhaegal forward to the peak.
What took hours on foot was only minutes as we raced back to the others. The wind muffled my ears and I only hoped they were still alive.
When we finally reached them my stomach dropped and I felt sick. Thousands of wight-walkers were crowded around the small company of men as they fought for their lives. Sweeping into action quickly, Dany and I intervened.
"Dracarys" I yelled to Rhaegal and steered him over the army of the dead trying to make a perimeter around the men. Dany did the same trying to burn as many as possible, ordering Viseryion to follow.
There were just so many.
I kept on with the attack trying to keep as many away as possible, but whenever a hundred would go down, two hundred more would take its place. Drogon being the largest, Dany landed and protected everyone else as they got on, but there were just so many and the process kept getting delayed.
