The room I was sleeping in was small and cramped. It smelled like perfume and sweat. I was laying in a bed, and at the foot of my bed was my sister's bed.

We had one black vanity table and a black wardrobe. There was also a window to the left side of my bed. It was small, and you could see quite far into the city.

Since it was raining, it was also foggy. I shook my head and laid back down. It was still way too early to get up. But I simply had to get out of bed. School is coming soon.

Soon I'll be able to go back to Hogwarts. 'I'll be able to see Draco and others.' I thought. I haven't got a single letter from Draco this summer. However, he never sent any, to begin with.

I sat up and looked at the date on my sister's calendar. 'August 31st'  it said on the calendar, however, I looked at the naked male who was in the background and I wanted to throw up. I got out of bed and checked again.

"Oh shit... Fuck my life!!!" - I groaned as I opened the wardrobe quickly and pulled out some clothes.

I pulled on my skinny ripped jeans, and my black crop top with the words 'Innocent' that were crossed, and underneath it said 'Guilty'. I pulled on some socks and got my black converse shoes on.

I took my hairbrush and put my hair into a very messy bun. I then took my glasses off my bedside table and I put on my contact lenses. I hated the fact my eyes were honey yellow. I liked the idea of dark brown eyes.

I opened the door to our flat and ran out with the little money I had earned while working at my summer job. I had worked at a library with wizard books and such.

My sister also works there, except she works two jobs to bring us both up. I ran down until I reached the Diagon Alley. When I finally walked inside the bookshop, the woman greeted me with a smile.

"Ah Y/n, I see you arrived for your books and equipment." - I smiled back. "Yes Mrs Windsor, I know I'm extra early, but I was wondering if I can buy them and get straight to work?" - I asked. I was somewhat hesitant since Mrs Windsor told me I didn't have to come to work until next summer.

"Oh yes of course dear, I'd be more than happy to sell you the books you need. You're a 6th year, right?" - she asked. I nodded and smiled. She then gave me my books and I handed her all the money I had left.

"Very well, now go to the back and put away your books, people will start coming as soon as six, make sure you're ready to work!" - she said in a singing voice, as she was excited.

Every year ever since I started going to Hogwarts, Mrs Windsor has been my employer, and I've been working for her. And every year I see her sell those books. It's a magical feeling. Seeing all those wizards and witches getting their books and other equipment.

I walked to the back, where my sister already was. "Morning Delilah." - I said, somewhat afraid she'd be mad at me for not coming earlier.

"Morning Y/n." - she said in her usual cold tone. It was as if she wanted to pretend she didn't know me. But I think she was just upset that this year is her last year at Hogwarts.

Delilah said that she wanted to marry a wealthy wizard, however, I don't think she's the type to marry to have use of it. Besides, she's only 19. Except for the fact that she has been my mom ever since we were little.

I put on my honey yellow vest and walk out to see people rushing in to buy books. I looked at the clock, and it was already 6:10. 'Shit, I should have already been here.'

I quickly ran over and joined Mrs Windsor and helped her with the books and other stuff the people wanted to buy.

The line was so long you couldn't see the end of it. I had once mentioned to Mrs Windsor that she should expand her shop, however, she said I can do that once she leaves the shop to me. Crazy right? I think she was joking, though.

The morning was passing by so quickly, that Mrs Windsor, Delilah and I worked hard on helping people find everything necessary for the upcoming school year.

Even though these were more like last-minute buyers. People who forgot to buy their books earlier were now buying everything. Not that we were out of stocks or anything.

However, not even work can go in peace without a fight breaking out. I saw Draco and Ronald fighting in a corner of the shop.

"Mrs Windsor, the Weasley and Malfoy are fighting." - I whispered to her. "Go and stop them from fighting, dear!" - she said in an annoyed voice as she went back to work.

I saw them standing in a crowd of people. "Oi! Weasley! Malfoy!" - they immediately stopped and looked over at me. I stood my ground. "If you're planning on arguing, argue outside. Some people are trying to work here!" - I shouted at them.

Ronald glared at Draco, and Draco glared back at him, then at me. "I'm surprised a slut like you dares to talk to me. Let alone command me to get out." - he muttered, I could see his sly grin, which annoyed me.

"I do not care what you think of me. As an employee here, I'm telling you to get out before I kick you out myself, Malfoy." - I snarled at him, he knew very well how to get on my nerves.

He looked at me in disbelief, and then I saw his father approach and put his hand on Draco's shoulder, he also had platinum hair and greyish blue eyes, he seemed quite handsome too, he was especially fancy and well-dressed.

"That is no way a pureblood would behave, Draco. Apologize to the young lady." - he glared at him, and Draco glared at me. I couldn't help but feel as if Mr Malfoy was trying to show sympathy or pity towards me.

I sure didn't need more of that. "It is not a problem, Mr Malfoy. I only want your son to stop acting like a child." - I grinned at the man, who nodded in agreement. "He indeed does act like a little child, Miss." - he looked as if he was asking for my last name.

"Ah, I'm Y/n L/n." - I said with a smile. However, Mr Malfoy looked at me as if I was an alien of some sort. "I see, well I am more than thrilled to finally meet you, Miss L/n." - he said, he raised my hand and pecked the top of it.

I was as confused as hell. 'What the fuck did he do that for?! I know he's trying to be a gentleman, but this is simply too much!' I thought as he grinned at me.

"We'll be on our way, Miss L/n." - he said, and they walked out the door, closing it behind him. Ronald had already left with his family, so now I could finally return to my working station.
