Not So Innocent (Severus Snape x Reader)

A week passed and soon there were only a few days left until the Yule Ball. My detentions with Severus were working out just fine, I was helping out with the potions and grading the other students' works.

And meanwhile, I got to see Harry become happier with Ginny than I could have ever made him. Inside I loved my big brother, my best friend forever. But he wasn't someone I would like to hurt on that level if it ever happened. 

And on the other hand, Draco got detention, even though he wasn't having it with me and Severus, but with Filch instead. I knew Severus had done that, but I thanked him dearly for doing so. It made me feel happier, to say the least. 

Delilah also moved on, she found herself, someone, she liked. Would you guess who? None other than Fred Weasley. How did that happen? Well, one day, Delilah and I went shopping for her dress and stumbled upon a shop the Weasley brothers were running. 

She and Fred instantly clicked. I was so happy for her that they decided to go on a date during the winter break.  

So now everyone was happy, right?... Right? 

December 23rd. I'm finishing up my charms class, I've just finished packing my books and supplies. "Hey, Y/n." - I hear Draco Malfoy calling me. "What is it, dimwit?" - I muttered. I felt his warm breath against my ear. "Will you be my date to the Yule Ball?" - he asked me. I sighed. "No." 

He looked at me wide-eyed with a gasp I heard come from his mouth. "Why not?!" - I got up from my desk as my class was over. "I already have a date to the Yule Ball." - I said and ignored him.  There would have been a time when I would explain my reasons to him and mock him, but that day isn't today.

"Leave me alone Malfoy." - was the last thing I said as I made my way to the Potions Classroom. I knocked on the door and heard. "Come in." On the other side. I happily opened the door and closed it behind me. I saw Severus with his head in his work. 

"Evening love." - I said as he shoots his head up. "My little dove." - he stood up, he loved calling me his little dove, since I wore white clothes most of the time, and they made me look like I have wings. "Severus, I have a question for you." - I said, he tilted his head. "What a coincidence, I have a question for you as well." 

I chuckled, "We say at the same time?" - I asked, and he sighed in agreement, slightly annoyed. "Will you go to the Yule Ball with me?" - we asked at the same time. I saw his cheeks turn slightly pink, and mine felt as if they were burning from embarrassment. He held my hands as he brought them to his lips. 

"I would love to go with you." - he said, and I nodded happily, feeling tears fall down my cheeks. I felt his hands wrap around my waist, he softly pressed his lips against mine as I cupped his cheeks in the palms of my hands. 

Once he broke the kiss I spoke. "I love you, Severus Snape." - I rubbed his cheeks with my thumbs. "And I love you Y/n L/n." - he pressed his forehead against mine. I began to sing a song to him as we stood there frozen in time. 

"I love you for who you are
I will love you now and forever
I will never leave you
No matter the storms that break
The last breaths we take
The sun and the moon will witness
What no one shall 
Now and forever I will love you
I won't leave you ever."

He soon joined me, and we stood there, singing the tune. Time passed so slow as we did. It felt like heaven. Once the time was for me to go, I felt Severus grab a hold of me even tighter. "I'm not going anywhere if you want me to stay." - I said as he nodded. 

"My chambers. I'll carry you my little dove." - he picked me up in bridal style, I blushed like crazy. I felt my cheeks were so warm to the touch of my fingertips as I held on tightly for dear life.
