No One's POV

Daryl, Glenn, and Andrea stepped onto the porch and all see the herd of walkers headed their way and temporarily froze in their spots before acting.

— —

Rick and Octavia get Carl by a tree and look around.

"We- - we gotta get to the house, tell the others." Carl says.

"We'll never get through that. Can't go around." Rick whispers.

"Octavia could get past them." Carl says.

"That's too much for Octavia to focus on. She can't kill that many all while protecting us and not getting bit. Now, Carl, you stay close. Go!" Rick says.

He and his children run through the herd and to the barn. Octavia killing any that got too close for her liking.

— —

"Patricia, kill the lights." Hershel whispers to Patricia.

"I'll get the guns." Andrea says.

"Maybe they're just passing, like the herd on the highway. Should we just go inside?" Glenn asks.

"Not unless there's a tunnel downstairs I don't know about. A herd that size would rip the house down." Daryl says.

— —

Octavia, Rick, and Carl make it to the barn and lock themselves in as walkers begin banging on the door.

— —

"Carl's gone." Lori says, walking onto the porch.

"What?" Daryl asks.

"He- - he was upstairs. I can't find him anymore." Lori says, fear in her eyes.

"Maybe he's hiding." Glenn says.

"He's supposed to be upstairs. Octavia is supposed to be back with you two. I'm not leaving without my kids." Lori says.

"We're not. We're gonna look again. We're gonna find him." Carol says, leading Lori inside.

After a bit, guns are brought out and Hershel stands his ground on dieing with his farm.

"Octavia, ya better be with yer brother and father. I'll kick yer ass, ya die on me." Daryl whispers to himself, as he hops over the ledge.

— —

Rick, Carl, and Octavia were in the barn as walkers banged on the door to get to them. They then all grab gasoline bottles and begin dropping gasoline on the ground.

"Alright, here we go. Come on. Hurry. Oh shit. Alright. Okay. Up there. Hurry." Rick says to his kids.

"What about you?" Carl asks.

"I'll be right there." Rick says.

"Dad, no." Octavia says.

"Drop the lighter when I say. We'll stop some of them from reaching the house and distract the others, so at least we'll have a chance." Rick says, handing Octavia a lighter.

"Daddy." Octavia says, tears in her eyes.

"Hey hey hey, look at me." Rick says, cupping her cheek in his hand and placed his other on Carl's shoulder.

"You two can do this. I'll be ok. I'll be right there. O.. you protect your brother.. like you always have." Rick says.

Octavia and Carl nod.
