yeon ran down to the nearest chicken shop in her local area and excitedly ordered three boxes. she was eager to celebrate their victory but more eager to see OSAKA PRINCE, otherwise mark, again.
"three plates of chicken for takeaway!" she said, fiddling with her fingers like those of a child.
suddenly as she looked up, she noticed a familiar face walking by the chicken restaurant.
"yuta?"
yuta let out a quick smile before wavering his hands. the same square smile that yeon had found adorable. "hey yeon."

yeon smiled back, also happy to see him. "such a coincidence." she had said as he nodded in response, knowing that it was not a coincidence. their plan to eat chicken and beer together would have been dispersed if she had shown up at mark's home, without knowledge of who the real OSAKA PRINCE is.
"mark called me and said that you guys won the national championships on SUBZERUP." he lied.
yeon pursed her lips and let out a cheer of victory. "YES! we're going to celebrate!"
yuta sheepishly smiled at their victory in the game. "i still have to grant you that one wish, right?"
yeon's eyes suddenly widened at yuta's response. "wish? how did you know mark promised to grant me a wish?" thats when he knew he fucked up.
her brows furrowed together, curious to yuta's knowledge of her and mark's relationship online.
"I-I I MEAN- MARK IS MY BESTIE! HE TELLS ME EVERYTHING! he told me that if you guys win the championships, he promised to grant you a wish!" he tried to cover up with more lies.
"okay.."
the awkward tension was broken off by the lady in the store. "your chicken is ready." she said and yeon immediately grabbed the box in eagerness.
the lady smiled and looked at yeon and yuta. "are you a couple?"
yeon's eyes immediately lit up and looked back at yuta. "no, we're just friends-"
yuta suddenly wrapped his arms around yeon and pulled her closer. "yes. she's my girlfriend and today is our 1 year anniversary as a couple!"
after hearing those words, yeon's cheeks flushed red, her legs had stopped working and her lips went numb. she couldn't say anything, or perhaps she didn't want to say anything.

"a cute couple! the chicken is on the house!" the lady said and yeon and yuta immediately thanked the lady.

"thanks to me, we got free chicken!" yuta said as the two approached the bus stop to their dorms.
"since you helped, you could perhaps come and celebrate with us." yeon smiled, unable to forget when yuta had touched her, leaving his scent upon her.
