Cain's POV

It's been three days.

I didn't go to work because I needed to look after my Ava. She's didn't leave her room for the past three days.

Ava is still sad about what happened.

"Sir, her breakfast is ready."

I stood up and carried the tray that the maid handed over me. It's for Ava.

I carefully went upstairs and went to her room. It was half open since I just came here to check her. As I went inside, I saw her laying on her bed. She didn't even moved or stood up.

"Wife, eat something for breakfast." I said.

I put the tray on the bed. She's facing the other side of the bed, I went to her right side and sat beside her. She's awake.

"Wife..." I brushed my fingers through her hair.

"You didn't ate your dinner last night. Please, eat something." I said.

She ignored me and stay still. She acted as if I'm not here.  I'm worried about her. I'm worried how long she's gonna stay like this.

She's wearing her black laced lingerie bra and undies. It's such a big tease to me but it's not the right time for that. I just want her to feel better.

I pulled the comforted to cover her body.

She didn't even moved. I just stood up.

"Have something to eat. Let me know if you want something." I said.

I turned my back and walked towards the door. But I stopped for a while. I turned and look at her.

"Ava, I'm always here for you. I'm not gonna leave you all alone. " I said.

I know she's having a hard time to adjust with our situation, but that's why I'm ready to do anything for her accept me.

"You can't get rid of my that easy.  I'll do everything to be with you. And I'll always be with you Ava. Don't forget that."

I held the door know and pulled it----

"Marquis."

I turned around again to look at her when I heard her calling me.

She slowly stood up. She pulled down the comforter. She's almost naked because of what she's wearing. I immediately closed the door.

"You should dress first." I said. I don't want anyone seeing Ava like this.

"I don't want to hear anything about my parents. Don't update them about me." She said.

"Ava---"

"If you really want me that bad, then do what I say. Cut them off, Marquis." She said with an angry tone.

I walk towards her to face her.

"But they'll be worried about you." I said.

"They sold their daughter. I'm not their property anymore. And I don't want anything to do with them from now on. "

You're right, you're my property now.

I sighed. I held her right cheeks.

"Okay, I'll do what you want." I said.

If that's what she wants, then I'll do it. I'll ways do anything for Ava.

She removed my hands and started to walk towards her bathroom. She was about to go in when she stopped.
