Chapter 5

Nai's POV
Nai got back into her sweats after taking a few photos and then made her way out of her house to larrays. She knocked on larrays door, and it opened to avani. You then asked "what are you doing here?" Avani laughed and pulled your arm to take you upstairs and said "larray told me about your "breakfast" with Vinnie, I came over right away, I wanna hear about your DATE" you then shook your head and said "it wasn't a date, it was just two friends having breakfast" avani laughed and took u into larrays room and you sat down on the bed beside larray. "TELL US EVERYTHING BITCH" you then got comfortable and said "what happened to hi, hello, how are you" avani hit her head and said "hi hello how are you k now tell us" you then sat up straight and said "it rlly was nothing, he picked me up and took my to blu jam cafe, we ate and then we left" larray then said "who payed?" You laughed and said "well the receipt went up to 54 dollars and I wanted to pay but he paid for it, but then I was leaving his car I left 54 dollars in his car and paid him back" avani then squealed and said "YES SHOW HIM UR INDEPENDENT" larray then sat and said "I think you should've just let him pay" you laugh and shook your head and said "well that's really it" avani and larray both rolled their eyes knowing there has to be more but knowing Nai's not going to tell them anything. Larray then got up and said "me and Brady have a date rn so ima go. You can stay here or leave i don't care" you decided to go back home because you were bored. You invited avani but she agreed to going out with Amelie.

Time skip
You arrived to your house and watched the office for a bit but then got bored so you put on drivers license by olivia rodrigo and began dancing around your apartment screaming the lyrics as loud as you can

YOU SAID FOREVER NOW I DRIVE ALONE PAST YOUR STREET"
You then started crying, you then received a call from Vinnie so you turned down the music and  answered forgetting that you were crying over the song.
Nai.   Vinnie
Hey Nai- are you ok?
You laugh and wipe your eyes then say "ya I'm just listening to drivers license by Olivia"
He laughed and said "ahh I cried to that earlier"
You guys both laughed and you said "what are you doing right now?"
He then answered by saying "nothing I'm bored. Wanna hang out?"
You nodded your head and said "come to my apartment let's hang out here"
He then got up and said "k see you in like 10"
He ended the call

You then looked at your apartment and saw it was a mess from your little moment with the song. You got up quickly and cleaned as much as u can before he came over

Vinnies POV
I was getting ready to go to Nai's. I made sure I didn't smell then made my way out of the house and told everyone I'm leaving.
I then went to the grocery store to pick up ice cream and chocolate, because she's sad from that song. There has to be something she relates to it to cry. I just wanna know what happened In her past.

Time skip
Nai's POV
I then sat on the couch waiting for Vinnie. I then heard a knock on my door so I yelled "it's open" he then came in and said "you know it isn't safe to keep ur door unlocked" you laughed and got up and said "no one wants to mess with me look at these muscles" you then flexed making Vinnie laugh and say "yes biggest muscles ever" you then laughed and said "what's in the bag?" He then pulled out ice cream and chocolate so you screamed and said "VINNIE THANK YOU" he laughed and scratched the back of his head and said "it's no problem, u were crying so I had to" you laughed and said "you know what's weird" he then asked what and you said "usually I don't open up this quickly, I've only known u for 4 days I think and I already feel comfortable with you" he then smiled and said "yay as u should bestie but honestly same" you smiled and said "ok let's go you big baby, I wanna watch the office" he agreed and said "the office is my favourite show" Nai screamed and said "VINNIE STOP- yay ur my new office buddy. I've watched this show 5 times" he laughed and sat down so you sat beside him.
It was very awkward. You guys were so stiff next to eachother, you then felt sleep and accidentally laid your head on Vinnie shoulder, you then got up quickly and said "sorry" Vinnie laughed and said "no worries. You can lay your head on my shoulder you know" you then agreed and Turned off the office then said "let's talk" you turned around and sat with your legs crossed up. He then agreed and said "what do you wanna talk about?" You then said "I wanna learn more about you. You don't have to tell me everything if ur not comfortable though" he laughed and said "ok so I'm from Seattle, I have a brother Reggie. And I moved out here just last year" you nodded your head and said "how was Seattle, tell me all about it" vinnie smiled and talked all about it

Vinnies POV
When she asked me to talk about Seattle I couldn't help but smile. I love talking about my past life at Seattle but I never found someone who cared enough. Usually when I talk about it I can tell the person isn't interested but with Nai I can tell she fascinated with everything I'm saying and really listening, it makes me feel better. I then said "well that's really it" she smiled and said "it sounds like you miss Seattle, you should go back soon to visit your family" I responded by saying "I wish but it's hard, I have so much to do here and they have so much to do there" you nodded

Nai's POV
When I heard Vinnie wanted to but couldn't go to Seattle I had the greatest idea. To talk to his managers and his parents, then buy him a ticket to Seattle. He then asked me "so how about you" you then said "well I live with my mom and dad, I'm a only child. And that's really it" he looked interested and said "tell me about your family" you then thought about your "dad" and a tear fell down you cheek. Vinnie then sat closer to you and wiped your tear with his thumb and said "Nai what's wrong, I'm sorry if I said something wrong" you then wiped all your tears away and said "no you said nothing wrong just my family life is something I usually never talk about." He nodded his head and said " well I'm here if you wanna talk about it, I'll never judge you" you nodded your head, I think I'm going to tell him, he will be the first person I've ever told.
