Chapter 9

Vinnies POV
I could tell she was deep in her thoughts. I then walked up and sat beside her looking at the view thinking what could have happened. I then hear sniffing beside me and look over to see tears running down her face. I put my arm around her and she puts her head on my chest.

Nai's POV
I was at me and vinnies spot. In need of clearing my head, I never cared so why do I now. I stare out into the view constantly thinking "am I acc that ugly" "does Vinnie even like hanging out with me" "why am I not good enough for them" I then hear soemone walk up to me and automatically know it's Vinnie because he's the only one the knew about this place. We both didn't say a word. We sat in silence while thinking. I don't even know why but tears began running down my cheek slowly, I never liked crying infront of others I always felt like it made you appear weak, and I still do. I then feel vinnies arm go around me, I tuck my head into his chest. I then feel Vinnie playing with my hair. He then let's go of me and says "Nai what's wrong, I was really worried" Nai then looked down and said "it's nothing, it's stupid." Vinnie then held my chin to make me look at him. "Nai talk to me please" vinnie said. I then took a deep breath and looked into the view for a few seconds before saying "I downloaded TikTok" he then said "Nai what happened when you downloaded TikTok" i wiped away my tears and said " I looked at the comments under that video of us.." I then giggled to myself and said "I know it's stupid, why would I let 13 year old girls affect me" Vinnie then said "Nai it's not stupid. Trust me I know how it feels, it makes you feel like you don't even know yourself anymore. You start to think their right and your not liked by anyone" I then look over to see tears falling down vinnies cheeks, I turned and wiped them off and said "how do you deal with it" vinnie then said "I don't. I just forget about it and make a joke with it, but Nai you don't understand your always going to get hate. U just have to find the person who makes you happy" you then put your head on his shoulder and said "who's that for you?" He laughed and said "it's you. You made me forget all the hate. See that's how much of a friend you are. Your the greatest" Nai then played with vinnies rings and said "thanks Vinnie. You really make me happy you know. Your that person for me you dork" vinnie laughed and said "as I should be bitch"

Vinnies POV
As Nai was telling me I honestly felt so bad because I was in the exact position she was in and it wasn't easy. I had no one but I'm going to make sure she knows that she has me. I then speak up and say "Nai it's not stupid. Trust me I know how it feels, it makes you feel like you don't even know yourself anymore. You start to think their right and your not liked by anyone" she then noticed I was crying and wiped my tears for me which made my heart soar, she then put her head on my shoulder and she said "who's that for you?" I can't believe she didn't know it was her, I thought I was being insanely obvious. "it's you. You made me forget all the hate. See that's how much of a friend you are. Your the greatest" I could feel her start to play with my rings and say "thanks Vinnie. You really make me happy you know. Your that person for me you dork" I then laugh and said "as I should be bitch" she then laughed. We both looked out on the view. "Wanna make a TikTok" Nai said. I then laughed and said "I mean if ur down ya"

Nai's POV
I then got up and said "k let's go" vinnie took my hand and got up. I started walking towards my skateboard and walked through the forest. "Wait for me bitch" vinnie said, I then turned back to him and said "use those beefy legs of yours" he then rolled his eyes and ran up to be walking beside you.

Time skip
Nai's POV
Vinnie and I then arrived to my apartment. We both went up to my apartment. Vinnie then says "I should get going" you laughed and said "did you bring a car or did you skateboard here" vinnie then said "I skateboarded here but no worries I'll just skateboard back" I then shook my head and said "no I'll drive you let's go" vinnie then laughed and said "my personal taxi driver" I then slapped him on the arm and said "where's my money then bitch" vinnie laughed and you both headed down to your car. You both got in and he said "hey uh are you going to get a new phone" I then remembered me throwing it out of sadness and to do anything to get away from the comments. I then put my hand on my head and said "oh shit ya I'll do that tomorrow" he laughed and said "ok good" you then dropped him off and went back into your apartment.

Time skip
It was about 9 pm and you then remembered what u wanted to do for Vinnie. You then texted his management agency and tried to see a good time he'd be able to go.

Hello, this is Nai one of vinnies close friends. I have noticed recently that Vinnie missed his home town and family so I was thinking if I could book Him a ticket to go there for a week or two. I was just
wondering if there was a time he'd be able to go.

Hello Nai! You are a very good friend for planning this for him, honestly this is a great time to ask because we don't have a lot going on for Vinnie right now! Vinnie is able to go for 2 weeks starting this Monday (it was Wednesday). Loved hearing from you.

You then went online and got a 2 way ticket starting Monday and coming back 2 weeks later on Monday. I then screen shotted the pictures on my MacBook. It was about 11pm so I went to bed
