The entire cafeteria was buzzing with friends, greeting each other, and stuffing their faces with food. Don't forget the couple's inhaling each other's tongue on the table in front of the lunch line, which is tragic. Imagine how it felt to wait on line while hearing the saliva transferring between mouths. I wished I could erase that memory.

"Lana, we are sorry." Catalina pouted, placing her crimson red tray next to mine.

"Yeah, we didn't think it would make you this upset," Meadow said, planting a chocolate-decorated brownie on my plate. She knew the way back into my good books — food.

"Ooo! Brownie." I licked my lips, happily rubbing my palms together. "I think I can find it in my heart to forgive you."

"Oh, yay! I couldn't take another class of you, ignoring me." Catalina frowned, leaning her head onto my shoulder.

"I would've probably broke next period anyway." I amusingly swatted the air with my hand.

"So, what's new in the Declan household?" Meadow wiggled her brows.

I snorted, my hands nervously combing through my hazel-suckle hair.

"Yeah, tell us all the sexy details." Catalina winked.

"There's nothing to tell," I sighed, reductively putting my brownie down. "Declan and I barely talked, especially since what you guys pulled."

"Oh, come on, it couldn't be that bad," Meadow said, peeling the pudding wrapper back.

"Look, at least you're living at Declan's house. Rodrick doesn't even know I exist," Catalina whined, looking off to the side of the room where Rodrick and his swimming team friends were conversing.

"This is why I don't waste time, having crushes," Meadow mentioned, sternly holding her spoon in the air to emphasize her sentence. Meadow always acted so innocently when she was the same.

Raising my eyebrows, I poked my finger in her pudding and made whiskers on her face. "Didn't you have a huge crush on Ambrose during freshman year?" I asked, stopping her dead in her tracks.

"I thought I told you guys to never mention that again." Meadow gritted through her teeth, scanning around the room for our bronze-colored hair friend. "You're lucky he wasn't here or I would have smacked you with this tray."

"Oh, hush." I waved her off.

"Seriously, I was delusional back then. I've grown since then." Meadow tried convincing us.

"Lana!" A husky tone voice yelled my name coming from the lunch line. I smiled upon recognizing the loud voice belonging to my dearest friend.

Ambrose ran to our table, using his hip to move Meadow and taking her spot next to me. My eyes immediately went to his plate stocked with a burger, fries, and two brownies. My mouth was watering, I probably was like a drooling baby at this point.
