"Shoyo! Time to get up!"
Hinata heard his mother yell from downstairs, and his personal alarm jumped on his bed.
"Nii-Chan! Wake up!"
"Oh, hey Natsu..." He was winded by the younger tangerine jumping on his stomach.
"Wake up! Wake up! Nii-Chan! It's time for you to go to your new school!" She giggled and fell on Hinata's lap.
"My first day of school huh." He sighed, picking Natsu up and carrying her downstairs.
"Go eat breakfast, little tangerine." The tall male chuckled, leaning on the doorway to the kitchen.
"Hey! I am not a tangerine!" The girl pouted, earning a hair ruffle from Shoyo.
"Sure you aren't. Good morning mom!" He looked at his mother who was making pancakes for Natsu.
"Good morning sweetheart!" She turned and gave him a quick smile, turning her attention back to the pancakes after a moment.
"I'm going to go get changed." He stretched, almost hitting his arms on the ceiling.
"Shoyo, at the rate you're going you might outgrow the new house by next spring." His mother chuckled, and he gave her a hoarse laugh in response.
"Yeah, I know." The tall male turned and walked back up the stairs and into his room to change.
♦
After a few minutes, the lanky tangerine walked back downstairs in his new school uniform.
"Spiffy!" His mother commented, and he laughed.
"Did you do your hair, Nii-chan?" The younger tangerine looked up at her tall older brother.
"I did, Natsu. Thank you for noticing." He struck a pose, earning a giggle from his sister.
"Okay Sho. Do you want me to drive you..?" His mother handed him a mini pancake with maple syrup that he downed in a second.
"No, I'll be okay with biking mom. Thanks." He walked towards his front door, waving to his family.
"Bye guys! Love ya'!" He called, and they responded with a loud, "Love you too!"
♦
As he hopped on his bike, speeding down the street, he looked up at the rising sun that was awakening to see his face.
"Beautiful.." He murmured as he approached the incoming slope.
He put his breaks on to make sure the road down below was clear, and once he checked, he let go of the breaks, propelling himself forward.
The male let out a low chuckle, showcasing his million-dollar smile to the world.
As soon as he reached the road, he continued to bike down at a slower pace until he reached the school with time to spare.
♦
"Hi there. I'm Shoyo Hinata. Nice to meet you." He waved at the secretary, who handed the boy his schedule.
"Hello there, Hinata. Here's your schedule for the first term." She gave him a small smile, which he returned with a toothy grin.
