Chapter 2 sadness

They entered the emerald colour field they had to walk though 5 fields before they could see there house so it was a long walk. Leaf would always let Oscar rest as it was even tiring for her "Leaf are we home yet I'm tired" Oscar said breathing deeply he was already tired "yeah we will stop for a bit I still have your drink too" leaf said as she sat down and took out Oscar's drink and gave it to him. 5 mins past and leaf was laying on the grass and Oscar was curled up to her asleep. Leaf watched Oscar happily sleep she took out her watch to see it said 5:30pm. Her eyes widen and rushed to her feet and picked Oscar up to a piggy back and rushed home almost at a sprint.

"whats wrong leaf why are you running" Oscar said still half asleep and rubbing his eyes "it's 5:30 Oscar you know what happened last time we where late" leaf said with a chill last time they where late they had to work with there father 5 hours longer. That was terrible they already worked 10 hours a day so 5 hours longer and do homework was hell. Leaf put Oscar on the floor pushed the door quietly and looked at the clock it said 5:59 "I'm home" leaf yelled "me too" Oscar yelled. This is where they went different ways Oscar went to the living room to see the parents but leaf went to her room like she always did when she had a rough day. Her room was like a normal 16 year old bed room red walls ,as red wears her favourite colour, and I bed in the corner by a window it had a flowery paten on the sheets and posters lots of posters of flowers and towns, her bed room was small but it was tidy very tidy she had shelfs with toys on soft ones to hard ones leaf liked anything unique and wired looking.

Leaf heard foot steeps coming to her room she pulled her covers over her face. "Honey?" leaf looked up over her covers to see her mouther with a worried expression on her face "is it Chloe again" she stopped a sighed "you don't have to go school leaf if chloe is bully you then stop going I don't want to see you upset all the time" leafs mother sat down in her bed and looked at leaf with a serious face "leaf please stop going school" her mouther yelled. Leafs eyes widened and filled with anger "no I won't stop I'm not a coward i will face my problems I'm none running" leaf looked down she didn't want to stop going school "I don't care if I have no friends I don't need them. But it means I can see the town and besides I'm learning new stuff it's great fun" leaf said happily but still had sadness in her eyes. Her mouther was about to open her mouth and say something but she stopped as if remembering something "no leaf you have to stop. You can't go into town I know how u feel but... just no you can't go" her mother answered firmly and got up and started to walk out "you never let me do what I want I'm always working under you and dad I hate this family" leaf shouted and started crying she got up and ran out the room.

Oscar was down stairs with his father when he heard leaf crying running out the door and his mouther shouting her name "stay there Oscar your sister is in big trouble" his father said angrily and got up and stormed out the room "leaf?" Oscar was always worried for his sister so followed his dad but he knew exactly were she went to there secret base she made when he was 3.

Oscar got to a big hole in the ground far away from the house "leaf? It's my Oscar" Oscar asked hoping she was here and remembered she wouldn't answer to anyone till they said the password "let's walk the streets of the town together" he waited still no answer he was getting worried she was always here "Leaf answer me" Oscar was almost crying what had happened to his sister. Oscar started to panic he looked around the hole maybe she fell and... no she was nowhere nearby. Oscar sat down on the grass he was so scared what if leaf ran away then father would be so mad "OSCAR!!" Oscar heard a yell looked around he couldn't let his father see the hold even though leaf wasn't in there "yes dad I'm coming" Oscar said wiping away his tears and walked towards his father. When Oscar got to the house he looked up to his father so see a surprising site he looked sad then Oscar looked at his mouther who was crying on his fathers shoulders his heart skipped a beat something happened to leaf that's all he could think of for him to be sad "is leaf..." that's all he could say with his little courage his father shook his head. Oscar did a deep sigh his sister was fine he was so glad but his sister was still gone what now. It was time for bed and still no leaf all Oscar could hear was his mouther saying it was her fault "it's my fault leaf left I told her she had to quit school because of the town" his mouther cried and cried Oscar knew if it was his father who told her he would have hit her still she agreed. Oscar just wanted his sister back it was lonely without her , what would he do about school and about work he just had to find her it was up to Oscar
