Chapter 6 wolf awaken

It was a horrible rainy day and the sky was black not because it was night but because of the clouds and the Ash farms fields where so muddy that they couldn't work on them. Oscar was walking home from another long day looking for Leaf and would always get home late but today he wishes he walked home sooner as it just started raining and the ground was muddy. "ugh... it's so muddy I feel like if I stay still for to long I'm going to sink" Oscar said looking down at his muddy feet. When he got to his house door he waited outside for a bit just thinking about Leaf and how much more fun it was with her around. "I'm home" Oscar shouted at he walked in only to be replied by silence "umm hello... I'm back" Oscar walked into the living room only to find empty sets and empty sets at the dinner table "mother... father... anyone" Oscar started to feel like his family was just leaving him first Leaf now them. Oscar made his way so his room when he was stopped by some faint whispering from his parents room. Oscar was about to walk in when he remembered he's never aloud in there so he listened only to hear half of what they were saying "Paul Oscars home should I go and great him or-"
"NO... Rose he can wait this is more important" they were saying. "So mum is called Rose and dad is called Paul" Oscar whispered to myself and getting up to leave "oh and Rose go and tell Oscar is not nice to listen to other people's convocation" Paul said louder. Oscar froze in fear of what would happen to him now "hi honey you want to come in" Oscars mother asked opening the door "you heard some you might as well hear the rest" she said smiling all Oscar did was nod and walked in.

It was a big dark room the floor was a black colour and felt like wolfs fur and the walls had lots of different colour looking fur almost like they had pulled out a handful of a wolfs fur there bed had big claw marks down it almost like a cat had attacked it. Oscar walked around the room feeling like there's something different about his parents now they just seem animal like. Oscar stopped right by his dad looking up at him waiting to be yelled at for listening to there convocation. "Son... me and your mother are going to be saying some strange stuff and doing strange stuff don't be scared... as you will soon have to take over from me. Now follow me" Oscars dad said going down under the house to a lit up cave. It looks like it's been here many years and it's old. "Dad this doesn't feel safe" Oscar said pushing some rock and a huge hole appeared "OSCAR DON'T OR THEY WILL FIND US!!" His dad yelled grabbing him and covering the hole before pulling him away "who is they?" Oscar asked very curious but only answered by silence Oscar did as he was told and followed and stayed quiet as his parents spoke "Leaf has awaken her inner demon we have to find her quick or they will find her and kill her and the accident from 20 years ago will happen again but this time leaving no Ash family members left" Oscars dad said looking down. Oscar saw in his eyes this was bad and gathered all his courage to speak "Ummm... what demon?" Oscar asked quietly only to get a bad look from his father "we will explain later just promise me this" his dad hesitated whether he should tell him Oscar looked at his mother his eyes asking for answers "just promise I'll still love us and you won't be scared of us we won't hurt you and this is all for you sister" Oscars mother added.

Rose and Paul looked at each other and then at Oscar only to get a nod and a quiet answer "yes dad mum I will never fear you and I trust that you won't hurt me" Oscar said quietly and smiled but Oscars smile soon Vanished when he opened his eyes and saw a brown and white bushy tails and brown and white ears on his parents head and big pointy fangs in there smiling mouths. Oscar was scared standing in front of him was no longer his mum and dad but blood thirsty wolfs Oscar back away only to trip over a rock on the floor. "Mum... Dad" Oscar cried out and started to shake "I want my family back I don't want to get eaten" Oscar cried only to find himself in a hug from the White wolf "Oscar we are still here the Ash family is a family where every member has a wolf demon In side all you have to do is except the demon and you will turn out like us but if you feel a great sadness and fear it will take over your body but that sadness and fear has to be so great that you pass out and once you do you will never wake up and will be taken over by your wolf... sorry we never told you or Leaf this" the White wolf said In a low but kind voice Oscar looked up at the wolf and saw his mothers eyes and was no longer scared but saw a beautiful wolf with white and purple marking fur with little sparkles. Oscar got up to see his dad a brown scary looking wolf. The wolf had much longer fangs then his mother and was much bigger too the wolfs fur was a dark brown with black markings. Oscar walked over the the brown wolf and looked into his eyes "dad?" Oscar said looking confused.

The brown wolf jumped over Oscar and landed behind Oscar "come Oscar we need to awaken your demon so you can help us find Leaf or we will never get her back just remember you demon will never hurt you so you don't need to get scared" the brown wolf said in a rough, low and intimidating voice Oscar just nodded he would do anything to save and find Leaf. They walked deeper into the cave as they walked Oscars dad told him about the accident that happened 20 years ago the day the Ash family was attacked. Oscar just listened amazed by the story waiting for it to be finished. "Why would you not want to use the strong power of the demon and live as a human?" Oscar asked at the end "do you ever miss you family and have you ever wondered what happened to the other two members that went to live as humans" Oscar asked another after another only getting a shake of the head. Oscar was thinking about Leaf when he bumped into something "huh" Oscar said looking up to see his dad's back "the only thing I know about the two that left to live as humans are that they live in the town called 'spring fresh' and that's all I know" his dad finished and confined walking Oscar was shocked they lived in the town he went to and meet Sophie that's all he could think about and if Bill know that "hmmmm" Oscar thought and stopped only to see his mother growling and his father doing the same "what's wrong d-" he was cut of but his dad putting a hand over his mouth "shhhh" was all Oscars dad said and looked back round hearing foot steps above them. They stood in silence till the foot steps stopped "why where you growling" Oscar asked looking up at his mother for the first time ever she looked angry and full of hate "there here" was all she said and a worried look crossed Oscars dad face "already are you sure?" He asked looking at Oscar and grabbing his arm and running "we have to hurry to awaken your demon" Oscars dad said picking him up to a piggyback and started to sprint

Oscar drifted off into a sleep and feeling like this had happened before being carried as the person carrying him sprinted... that's right! Leaf did this when they walked home together the day she ran away was when it happened he felt so peaceful then and he did now. Leaf had always helped him she was always there for him but now Leaf is gone Oscar feels lost and confused. "mmm Leaf" Oscar said sleepy before being woken up by a growl. Oscar opened his eyes to see nothing just darkness was he still dreaming Oscar couldn't tell if it was a dream or not "Oscar wake up"
'Who's that voice it sounds familiar but how all I can see is blackness... wait I remember that's my dads voice but where is he... dad' he finally woke up to see a man in armour and wearing a mask and on his top he had written 'demon hunters' Oscar stood up the word 'demon hunters' ringing In his head over and over before realising "OH NO... dad mum look out there a demon hunter there" Oscar shouted and started to run forwards and stood by them "Oscar remember your demon is your friend it will never hurt you don't be scared and except it" Oscars mother said looking back at the man. Oscar nodded "but how do I get my demon out like you can"
"You can't not yet you will only be able to grow ears and a tail oh and your teeth will grow longer" Oscars dad said before turning into what Oscar would look like and then turning full wolf "yeah ok but how" the brown wolf turned around and looked deep into his sons eyes "just ask" he said before turning to help the White wolf. "Just ask?" Oscar asked only to find he was standing alone his mother and father where gone Oscar looked around only to find that the man was actually a stuff toy and the it hit him, he was in a training filed "ohh... I'm silly... ok just ask just ask... just ask" Oscar repeated and closed his eyes "help me please" he shouted and then opened his eyes seeing his eye sight wears different and looked down at his eyes and saw claws and gray fur. Oscar walked up to a mirror and saw in the reflection not a human but a wolf looking human with gray fur with purple markings. Oscar pulled at his mouth and saw two pointy fangs they were real not fake he turned to the side and saw a bushy tail that he could move and pointy ears on his head. Oscar looked back up at himself and saw yellow eyes bright yellow eyes that looked scary he started to back away and fell over "ahhhhhhhh" Oscar started to scream and found himself leaning on a white fury hand "Oscar don't worry look" Oscar looked up and saw his mother was just like him not full wolf or human but half just like him. She brought him to the mirror "listen ok I don't expect you to get it first try ok so I'll be here to help you if you get scared just tell me and I'll help you" she said giving him a closed eye smile Oscar looked back at the mirror and saw his eyes again "my eyes they scary" Oscar said looking closer and moved his hand over one eye "but it is me so I can't get hurt" Oscar said again moving his hand to the next eye. Oscar turned around the the toy man "cause I'm a wolf demon and I will get Leaf back no matter what and I will do anything me Oscar Ash I accept that I'm a wolf demon" Oscar shouted before turning to his mother who looked back at his wide eyes "Oscar?" Was all she could say "I'm a wolf am happy about being a wolf"
