Driving home to get some clothes for I will be staying at the hospital until my son recovers.
Today is his operation and I should be back to the hospital as soon as possible.

I remembered what happened yesterday. It's unbelievable. It's surreal.
I got to see my Quentin. And how happy I am knowing I have my Sasha, too.
And yes. Jennie.
The only woman I ever loved. The unexpected one.
If you could only imagine our younger years.
We we're so wild and careless.
But yeah, I really missed her.
She is still so pretty. Her body doesn't tell she has two kids already. But there's one thing that I feel bad about. She is still this sad Jennie who left me many years ago.

I shifted my mind and just thought of last night.
We we're in one bed at the hospital and between us was our daughter.

I took glances at Jennie and damn-. My heart kept throbbing looking at her face.
But I need to control this.
I am married.

I stepped in my house and noticed my wife's car is not around. Oh yes!

I rushed to our room and took a bath.

I put on a white plain shirt, jeans and just my sneakers.
I feel human without my coat!

I was about to go out with my bag with clothes in it.

And she entered. Mad.
So mad!

"Where the hell were you last night?
Why did you block me?
Are you sleeping with another woman? Why didn't you text me of your whereabouts? Answer me, Lisa! You make me go crazy! And where are you going now? Answer me!"
Oh shoot! I thought she is not here.
How can I answer her if she keeps on talking and nagging me?
See, guys? This is my fucking toxic life with my wife.
Welcome! How sad.

"Yuna, how can I answer if you keep screaming so early in the morning?"
I said on my calm tone and carried my backpack not making an eye contact.

"Where the hell are you going again?"
She is asking me like a child having tantrums. So paranoid.

"If I am going to tell you, of course, you won't let me go. It's none of your business. Have you think about the divorce? Please. Set me free. We both know this is not working."
I said.

She went furious and grabbed the vase and threw at me. Good thing I was fast to cover my head with my arms. The vase scattered into pieces when it reached the floor.

"See? You're hurting me in every way."
I said, still calm.

"I- I am sorry, babe. I- I was just-."
She just realized now what she did.

"Expect the papers next week and please sign it, Yuna.
Set me free. Please?
I'm out of here."
I walked out holding back my tears.
Got in my car and drove out our place.

I stopped on the next block and cried.

I took a deep breath.

"What a miserable life you've got, Lisa."
I told myself and started driving again.

I reached the hospital and Jennie is in the room with her cousin Jasmine. I know her since we were in college. I greeted them.

Sasha ran to me and embraced me tight like she won't ever let go of me.

"Dada, you are here!"
She said and kissed me many times.
