If only I knew she would eventually avoid me, I won't let Harry continue to court me.

Lisa has been so unclear with me.
We do stuff that couples do but she never had feelings for me. She never even initiated to make love to me again after we did it after our yacht dinner.

So I thought she didn't like it to happen anymore. Maybe she realized I am not her type sexually.
So yeah, I gave myself a chance to entertain others.
Harry is a nice guy. He's very expressive of what he feels towards me. And I can also sense that he has clean intentions.

But.

Seeing Lisa kissing another woman right in front of me last night was a big slap. And she was not just another typical woman. Lisa was kissing Nima Benati, a top fashion influencer in Italy! She even took her out last night. Ugh!
I mean, yes, she has the right to do whatever she wants but I felt a bit of myself being so territorial.
Am I missing something about me?
I felt jealous.
Jealous?
Ah!

I need to see her.
I have to clear things with her.
I'm not okay with this set up of ours, not talking. Not even seeing each other anymore since the day I let Harry court me.

I appeared to her place in the morning. Hit the doorbell more than twice. Knocked and still not opening the door. Until I knocked so loud and called her phone.

Finally, she opened the door in her white loose shirt and black boxers. And behind her is Nima who is about to leave.

"Call me whenever you want."
She said as she place her calling card inside Lisa's shorts. Jesus.

"Yes?"
She welcomed me coldly when the girl left.

I entered and shut her door hard.

"Can we talk about us?"
I asked her as she inspects her fridge for food.

"Coffee? Tea? Me?"
She asked.

"I am serious, Lisa."
I said as I cross my arms leaning on the wall.

"Go talk."
She said.

"Why are you avoiding me?"
I asked.
She smirked.

"You want me to be present even on your dates with that guy Larry?"
She said.

"Larry? It's Harry!"
I said. She is teasing me intentionally.

"Whatever. Ok. So, why are you here?"
She asked coldly.

"Why are you being so aloof?"
I asked.

"Jennie, as much as I want my whole life to be with you, I know I can't. You have your own decisions and choices in life. I was never part of it. Last time I'm the one you're being with all the time and in a snap..."
She said. What the.

"What drama is this, Lisa? Enlighten me."
I said.

She went to the dining table with her coffee and a cup of tea for me. I followed.

She lit up a cigarette and I immediately took it away from her and threw at the bin.

"Will you stop smoking?!"
I said.
