JENNIE

"Lisa and Jennie Kim are already dating now, girl. You can't get Lisa's attention anymore. That Jennie is so hard to reach!"
I heard women talking inside our department's comfort room and I am inside the cubicle.

"Ugh. But that woman plays around too just like Lisa. The two just flock!"
Another woman said.

"But no doubt they look great together, huh?"
I smirked when I heard it.

I came out of the cubicle and their eyes went big.

I washed my hands and prepared myself as I am taking my lunch and my friends are already waiting for me at the cafeteria.

They became so silent and would melt anytime realizing I heard their conversation.

I smiled at them and walked out.

Lisa and I are just friends.

When I arrived at the canteen, Irene already got food for me and I thanked her.
I sat beside them and noticed Lisa and her friends are laughing on something.

Then I saw Lisa looking at me and smiling. I smiled back.
She stood up when a girl is approaching her again and she rushed going to my table not giving the girl a chance to talk to her.

She sat beside me.

"Hi! Good afternoon."
She greeted me and my friends.

"Hey! What's up?"
She asked me.

"I'm cool. You?"
I asked.

"Coffee later? Let's study together?"
She asked. Ugh. I forgot she's also a smart ass here even if she's a well-known player.

"Sure."
I said coldly.

"Lisa, congratulations! We've heard you're on the dean's list again for this semester?"
Irene said and Lisa just smiled and thanked her.

Wow. Really smart!

"Jen, are you mad at me?"
She asked. Maybe she felt I'm a bit cold towards her.

"No. I just got worried last night. Been texting you but got no reply. I just said to myself maybe you're sleeping with other woman."
I said and she chuckled.

"What? No. You texted me?"
She asked and I nodded.

She took out her phone and opened her inbox and placed her phone in front of me.

I saw a lot of unread messages from unregistered numbers.

"I don't entertain unregistered numbers. Too sad my number is scattered all over the university and I can't just change it in a snap. You didn't introduce yourself. I am sorry."
She said worriedly.

Oh. Jennie. It's so fast for you to conclude that she was having sex last night.

"Hey, Lis. We're heading to our next class now."
Her friends approached our table.

"Yeah. Go. I'll follow. By the way, this Jennie.
Jennie, this is V and this is Steven."
She introduced me and I greeted them.

"Nice to meet you, Jen. Finally, you're turning our rock into oceans of fine sand."
V said as he teased Lisa.

"Move away, idiot."
Lisa pushed her friend away and they are all laughing.

"Which one is your number?"
She asked and I looked for my message on her inbox. Damn. She really got random texts from strangers. I have even read one asking for sex.
