After that, they both silently ate, Regan only having one while Dennis finished the whole bowl. Dennis had spent the entire time researching all over the internet. At first, Regan watched but quickly grew bored.
From the corner of Regan's eye, he saw that the sky was turning into a bright orange. He looked up at Dennis, who seemingly hadn't have noticed.
"Dennis, what time is it?" Regan asked innocently, knowing that Dennis would freak.
"Uh, 6:11."

"6:11?!"
"Yeah, your mom probably made dinner already," Regan smirked as he rolled his eyes.
"No, m-my mom doesn't make family dinner anymore," Dennis muttered as he closed the laptop.
"What do you mean?" Regan furrowed his brows at his ex-best friend/temporary landlord.
"Well, two years ago, she got a good-paying job. But uh, because of that, she is too busy to do... family stuff anymore." Dennis stood up from his chair and made his way to the door. Dennis left before Regan could apologize.
"Damn, what happened to you, Dennis?" Regan mumbled to himself, worried for him.
A few minutes later, Dennis came back into the bedroom with a container of instant ramen noodles. Steam was already wafting out from it, filling the room with the smell of it.
In his other hand were a few supplies: a water bottle cap, a butter knife, and a fork. Dennis placed everything onto the desk next to Regan.
"What's with the knife?" Regan asked, still unsure of the reason.
"Oh, I thought I could cut some ramen up and put them in your cap-er-bowl." Dennis looked down at the ramen, avoiding eye contact with the tiny.
"Thank you." A ghost of a smile grew onto Regan's face, grateful that Dennis thought of him.
"I-what?" Dennis's head whipped toward Regan, eyes full of disbelieve and confusion.
"Don't make it a big deal or whatever, just prepare the food, already." Regan crossed his arms and rolled his eyes, earning a small chuckle from Dennis.
Dennis grabbed about five strands of noodles and placed cut them into small pieces. Shortly after, the cap was full of ramen and tiny bits of vegetables.
They both dug into their meals, Dennis being the first to finish. When he did, he quietly watched as Regan ate his. Every movement he made was so surreal.

"So, where am I sleeping?" Regan asked when Dennis came back into the room, wearing his pajamas.
"Oh!"
Dennis walked over to his nightstand, where a tissue box was located. He took out a few tissues and fidgeted with them and the box. Regan couldn't see since Dennis was in the way.
Then Dennis stood up and walked back to Regan. He brought his hands down to the tiny but then recoiled.
"Sorry, can I carry you?" Dennis gave him a shy smile. He laid his hand upon the desk, pausing for Regan.
"Yes, you many." Regan chuckled as he stepped onto the giant hand in front of him. The leathery texture was unstable, so he had to hold onto Dennis's thumb.
