"What am I going to do?! What am I going to do?!" Dennis was pacing back and forth. They were at the same spot where Dennis had found tiny Regan.
"Calm down. It's going to be okay." Regan was on his shoulder, holding on tight to Dennis's hair.
"How do you know that?! My mom is going to fucking kill me! I-!"
"Dennis! Look at me!"
Dennis slowly looked at his right shoulder, down at Regan. The tiny didn't have an ounce of fear on his face.
"We will figure this out together, okay?" Regan smiled up at his giant friend.
"M-Mhm..." Dennis didn't trust himself to speak.
"One thing at a time. The teachers won't do anything like expelling you. Maybe just detention. Sure, Mr. Schaper will lecture you about leaving, but that's it."
Dennis began to calm down a little, glad that he wouldn't have horrible consequences.
"Lastly, your mom is nice. She won't be too harsh with you if you have a good reason."
"Yeah, you're right." A ghost of a smile appeared on Dennis's face. Then he remembered something important.
"What about you? What are we going to do about your size? Mr. Schaper probably called your parents already."
"Oh, right...I kinda forgot about that." Regan gave him a dry laugh. Suddenly, Dennis snatched him and held him close to his face.
"How do you forget something like that?! You are forced to be stuck with me for god knows how long!" Dennis expressed his distress loudly.
"I like being 'stuck' with you. It's new and exciting!" Regan beamed, smiling up at Dennis, making him blush.
"Y-You do..?"
"Duh, I wouldn't be saying it if I was lying."
"...I like being 'stuck' with you too." Dennis awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck, a smile plastered on his face.
Suddenly, something pressed against Dennis's bottom lip. Regan had kissed him. Then Dennis kissed back, being mindful of Regan's size.
It was a strange feeling, kissing someone as tall as three inches. Nevertheless, Dennis loved every second of it, so did Regan.
Then, Regan began to grow heavy, weighting down his hands. Dennis opened his eyes, but before he could get a good look, he stumbled back. They both yelped, falling onto their backs.
"What the hell?! You dropped me!" Regan rubbed the back of his head.
"No, it was your fault-!" Dennis froze, staring at Regan with shock in his eyes. Regan opened his eyes and was at his height. Not looking up at him.
At first, his face had a confused expression before his lips grew into a wide smile.
"I'm back! I'm back!" Regan cheered as he ran around with a grin that could be broken by no one. Dennis stood up and had a sad smile as he watched Regan.
Then Regan ran over to Dennis and hugged him, lifting him off of the ground. Regan still couldn't believe he was back to normal.
"You're back," Dennis smirked at him after Regan let go of him. Regan had a toothy grin but then shrunk into a frown.
"What's wrong?" Regan placed his hands on Dennis's shoulders with a stern expression.
"W-What? Nothings wrong. Dennis rolled his eyes, and he grabbed Regan's hands and took them off of him.
