Like every day, Dennis got ready for school and left the house. On his way of walking, Regan ran over to him.
"Dennis!" Regan cheered as he gave him a peck on the cheek. Then they continued walking.
"What am I going to do?! What's going to happen to you?!" Dennis exploded with panicked questions that have been filling his thoughts.
"I'm sure it'll be fine, you worrywart." Regan gave him a playful smirk.
"Still? With the bad nicknames?" Dennis shot him a glare.
"They suit you."
"Whatever."
"Seriously, I know everything will be okay, okay?" Regan said, now with his serious voice.
"How can you 'know?" Dennis pulled up his hood over his head to hide away his face. Right away, Regan dragged it off his head.
"As long as we're together. Everything will be okay."
"Bleh! I think I'm going to throw up... Too sappy." Dennis fake gaged, earning an eye roll from his boyfriend.
"Looks like we're here," Regan announced, changing the subject back to what it was.
"I'm dead." Dennis groaned as they entered the school building. They were receiving looks from everybody. Most of them were confused.
"REGAN!" A group of students ran up to Regan and crowded him, pushing Dennis away.
"People keep saying you were small yesterday?!"
"I held you in my fucking hands!"
"How are you back to normal?!"
"How did you shrink?!"
"Guys, guys, shut up. I was sick for a few days. I don't even know what you're all talking about." Regan lied before pushing his way through and pulled Dennis off of the floor.
They all stopped asking questions and quieted down, staring at Dennis with confusion.
"Are you okay, baby?" Regan asked before he planted a kiss on Dennis's forehead, earning a giggle from him.
"Yes, I'm fine. Stop treating me like a 'baby." Dennis playfully rolled his eyes.
"Since when did the two of you get together?" Millie asked, shooting a glare at Dennis, then at Regan.
"Oh, I was sick, so Dennis took care of me." Regan gave Dennis another kiss, now on the cheek.
"But that doesn't explain what people keep on talking about." Millie kept on maintaining the topic.
"Who on Earth believes that I shrunk. I was just sick, like seriously, I'm gone for like two days, and everything goes to shit."
"Then why did Dennis say he didn't know where you were."
"Because he was embawessed that he wuvs me." Regan teased before planting another peck.
"...Shut up," Dennis grumbled. His face was now bright red.
"Okay, I must admit. You guys are so cute together!" Millie squeaked from excitement.
"I know." Regan laughed before the two began walking toward Dennis's locker first. The words "FAGGOT" were still there in all their glory.

For the rest of the day, people picked on Dennis less and less. When some of them tried to beat him up, Regan stood up for him, scaring them off.
The news of Regan's relationship status spread around the school faster than you could say "chimichanga."
Christine kept shooting glares at them, but the couple ignored her anyway. Some other students now called both of them "faggot," but neither one of them cared.
Regan took every opportunity he could to kiss Dennis. He loved it when his boyfriend was flustered and/or embarrassed. Dennis tried to act annoyed, but he loved being kissed by him anyway.
