House Party - Short Story

You're 21, you live in Atlanta with your parents they're going away for the weekend leaving you home alone. You don't mind though cause Justin, the neighbour who lives next door is around your age and he's really cute.

Y/m: Okay sweetie, we'll see you on Monday. Call me if you need us and if you wanna invite a FEW friends around that's fine. But no wild parties!
You smile
You: I know mom. Love you, have a good weekend.
Y/m: Okay we will, love you too!
Y/d: C'mon (y/m/n) we're gonna miss check in at this rate.
Your dad kisses you on the head
Y/d: Bye princess, love you
You: Bye dad love you too
Your mom kisses your cheek
Y/m: Bye honey
You: Bye mom
You wave them off as they get in the car and leave for the airport.
They're only going to Miami but found it cheaper and quicker to fly than drive. Over the past few weeks you've started hanging with Your neighbour Justin, he's cool an sweet. You go over to his house and knock. He opens the door.
Justin: Oh hey (y/n)
You: Hey Justin..are you busy tonight? Cause my mom an dad have gone outta town for the weekend so I was wondering if you wanted to hang out?
Justin: I can't come to you but I'm having a house party tonight so do you wanna come over?
You: I wouldn't wanna intrude
Justin: Your not, I'm inviting you
He giggles, you smile at his giggle because it's adorable
You: Yeah okay, thanks
Justin smiles
You: What time?
Justin: 10-ish
You: Okay
Justin: See you later
You: Bye
You go back home smiling like an idiot.

-hours later at the party-

You're pretty drunk, you look around at the busy house and can't seem to find Justin.
You look outside in the back yard and see him sitting on a bench.
You: H-hey...
Justin: Hey
You sit next to him, because you're drunk you feel more comfortable around him and rest your head on his shoulder. Justin's drunk too, he puts his arm around you.
You hear Justin's friend Chaz from inside
Chaz: WHOS DOING SHOTS WITH ME?!
You lift your head up
You: Oo shots!
Justin gets up and runs inside, you giggle and follow him, Chaz gives everyone who wants one a shot of Gray Goose Vodka.
Chaz: Okay..1..2..3..!
You all take the shot, you pull a face at the taste
You: Shh***tt that was strong!
Justin smirks
Chaz: Okay next one!
He hands everyone a shot of strong whiskey
Chaz: 1..2..3..!
You all take it, you pull a face at the again!
Chaz: Next one!
Chaz goes to give you shot of tequila
You shake your head
Chaz: Come on! -to Justin- Bro?
Justin: Nah I'm good
Chaz: Urgh fine!
He counts down again and the other take the shot.
-few hours later, pretty much everyone's gone. Only Ryan, Justin's other friend an Chaz are left, you're fast asleep on the couch after the shots. Ryan and Chaz pass out on the floor, Justin locks up and picks you up. You don't wake up, he takes you to his room and lays you down in his bed. You stay asleep and curl up in a ball, he puts the cover over you, gets in beside you and falls asleep.
-next morning-
You wake up at 9:30 with the worst headache in history, you look around and don't recognise the room. You see a sleeping Justin next to you and smile, you check to see if you're still fully dressed, which you are. You put your arm across your face to block the morning light.
Justin wakes up and sits up, you look at him.
You: Morning
Justin: Morning
You: How did I end up in bed with you? Last thing I remember was falling asleep on the couch
Justin: I carried you up, I couldn't leave you in a room with two drunk men
You: Awh you're so sweet
Justin smiles
You: Hungover?
Justin: I'm not too bad really, you?
You: Yep! Well just a headache but it's really bad
Justin: Come down with me, I'll help
You smile again at his sweetness
You: Okay
You both get up and go downstairs, Chaz and Ryan are still passed out on the living room floor. You go with Justin into the kitchen, he gets you a glass of water a mild headache pill which you take when you usually have a headache and puts some bread in the toaster to make you some toast.
You: Thanks
You recognise the common pill and take it with the water he gave you. You wait in the kitchen while Justin wakes up Chaz an Ryan and gets them out. You start cleaning up, Justin comes back in the kitchen and hugs you from behind. You smile and look at him.
Justin: Look I know we've only known each other a few weeks but the more I hang out with you the more I realise how much I like you. So I was wondering if maybe we could start things up between us?
You smile and nod, Justin smiles and turns you to face him. He looks into your eyes and you kiss softly.
