New Job Short Story

Your mom: Are you nervous?
You: Yes! Like super nervous

Tomorrow was the first day of your new job as a PA for the owner of a major IT company JB's.

Y/m: Awh don't worry, you'll be fine once your there!
You: I hope so mom, anyway I'm off to bed. Night

You just turned 19 and still live at home with your parents. You kiss your mom and dad on the cheek.

Y/m: Night honey, have a good sleep
Y/d: Goodnight princess, good luck for tomorrow.
You: Thanks Dad an I'll try Mom, goodnight

You go upstairs, do everything you need and go to bed. You fall asleep after 2 hours of worrying and over thinking about your new job tomorrow. You finally get to sleep around 2am and your alarm is set for 7!

Before you knew it you could hear your local radio DJs voice coming from the radio clock on your bedside table. You groan, get up and shower. You get out, get ready and come downstairs feeling fresh but nervous.

Y/m: Breakfast?
You: No thanks
Y/m: Are you okay? You normally can't resist a full breakfast
You: Mom with the way I'm feeling now there's more chance of me seeing it in reverse.
Y/m: Awh okay honey, you want a lift there?
You: Yes please
Y/m: Okay, c'mon then
Your mom drops you off at 8:45am.
Y/m: Good luck and text me when you can
You: Thanks and okay
You get out the car, walk into the massive building and go to the reception desk...which was a waste of time. The girl behind the desk who was around your age was too busy on her phone to notice you.
You: Hi I'm um-
Before you could finish a very successful looking man in what you assume is a very expensive suit walks towards you.
Him: Hi you must be (y/n)?
You: Yes Sir
Him: Please, call me Jake.
You smile at him

This successful Gentleman was Jake Bieber, the owner of the company and your boss.

Jake: Please walk with me to my office
He gestures his hand to you for you to go before him as he opens two glass doors that lead to a long corridor with one single door at the end. You walk the corridor with him and finally reach his office.

Jake: Please, take a seat.

You sit on the chair in front of his desk as he sits in his comfortable office chair behind the desk. He can tell you're nervous by your body language.

Jake: Don't worry everything is going to be fine! I just need you to sign a few forms and then Justin will show you the ropes

You smile nervously

You: Okay.

Jake hands you 3 forms for you to sign.

Jake: Okay now that's all done I'll introduce you to Justin, he'll be you're 'buddy' for the first few weeks. He'll help you when you need it and he'll also make sure you don't get lost in here.

You smirk nervously

Jake presses a button on a machine on his desk and talks into it.

Jake: Justin can you come in my office please

A few seconds later a guy the same age as you or a couple of years older came into the room. His hair was brown and he had big brown eyes. He had to be one of the most attractive guys you've ever seen.

Justin: You called?

Jake: Yes I did, Justin this is (y/n). (Y/n) this is Justin Bieber, your buddy.

Justin looks at you for the first time since he came in the room and smiles an amazing smile.

Justin: Hi
You: Hi

Jake: Okay Justin you wanna show (y/n) what she'll be doing and take her on a quick tour around the building.

Justin: Of course *to you* what first?
You: I don't mind
Justin: What about the tour?
You: Okay

You get up from your chair and go over to Justin

Jake: Have fun you two

You smirk, Justin gestures his hand for you to walk before him going through the door like Jake did.

Before Justin left the room Jake looked up from his desk at him.

Jake: Behave

Justin smirked and closes the door behind him as he leaves.
Justin: Okay, we'll start at the top and work our way down.
You: Okay
You and Justin go in the elevator and go to the 10th floor.
You: Did Jake say that your last name was Bieber?
Justin: Yeah, Jakes my brother
You: Oh cool
Justin shows you around the whole building, he looks at his watch. It's 12:30pm

Justin: You wanna get something to eat?
You: Sure
Justin smiles at your acceptance
Justin: I know a great little place
You giggle as you and Justin go to a cute little café around the corner. He gets you both a coffee and a snack while you sit at a table. He comes over, puts your drinks on the table an sits down.

You: Thanks
Justin: It's okay, so how come a beautiful girl like you wants wanna work for 'JB's'?

You smile and blush
You: Oh well I-Ive just finished college studying IT and I want to do that as a career.

Justin sipped his coffee as the waitress brought your food over. You both thanked her

You: So how come your working for your brother?
Justin: Oh it's a family thing, my grandpa started the company and my dad worked for him. Then my dad took over the company after my grandpa died and then my dad retired and Jake took over. Then Jake hired me to be his lap dog basically.

You: Awh I'm sure you're not his lap dog and oh wow so it's been passed down through the whole family!
Justin giggles
Justin: I guess an yeah I am, he tells me to do the things he can't be bothered doing I hate it.
You: Oh..
Justin realises you were one of the 'things' Jake asked.
Justin: Oh I don't mean I've hated showing you around it's just..ahh that came out all wrong..
You put your hand on his arm an smile
You: Its okay I get you
Justin looks at your hand and then at you an smiles.
You finish off your lunch and head back to work. You go into Jakes office with Justin.
Jake: Wow, that took you 3 hours! I didn't know the building was so big
You: I-um..
Justin: We went for lunch
Jake: Mm well next time you two decide to have a date make sure it's out of work time.

You smirked at the thought of you and Justin going on a proper date. Justin looked at you smirking and smiled, obviously thinking the same thing.

Jake: Justin will you show (y/n) how our system works

Justin: Yeah, c'mon I'll show you in my office

Jake: What's wrong with the computer in my office

Justin thinks of an excuse

Justin: Oh erm I'm already logged in on mine

Jake isn't paying attention to Justin an carries on with his work.

You follow Justin into his office and he closes the door behind you.

Justin: Take a seat at my computer an I'll do a quick run through.

You do as he asks, he comes over and stands behind you leaning over you to use the computer.

Yours and Justin's faces are inches apart and he starts to explain the company's computer system.

Justin: So when you click this you get the....

Justin's voice trails off as you look at his beautiful face beside yours, Justin stops talking and looks at you. Without saying anything else he crashes his lips into yours and you put your hand on the side of his face. You break from the kiss and both of you smile.

Justin: Are you busy later?
You shake your head
You: Nope
Justin: Great, I'll pick you up at 8
He smirks and you smile again
You: I think I'm going to like working here
Justin: Mm I think I'm going to like you working here too!
You both giggle and spend the rest of the day in Justin's office hanging out and getting to know each other.
