Looking up at her accomplishment she forced herself to soften her tense shoulders and allowed a small smile to slip through her chapped lips.
Holding back a sigh she fixed her disheveled hair and walked with determination with her luggage and her purse in her hands.

Opening her apartment door she stumbles in and drops her luggage on the floor.
She observes her room too exhausted to care about the luggage on the floor. Looking to her right she could see the kitchen with its white wall tiles, white cabinet's and soft, neutral tone countertops.

In front of her was the living room with a tiny tv at the corner which she bought at the second-hand stores. In front of the tv was a small side table which she also bought at the second-hand store.

Net to the kitchen she could see a door peaking out.
Assuming it was her bedroom, she dragged her feet's  to it and opened the door wide as she flops on her queen sized bed, not even minding that her shoes were still left on.

As days went on Emma finally decided to get out of her apartment. Hoping no-one noticed her nor tried to talk to her, she left her apartment in search of some coffee shop.

She remember seeing an coffee shop when driving through here.

Reading the shops names as she passed through the long road she ignored the stares of the people inside it,knowing that they probably haven't seen someone other than the people they grew up with in this small town of 300 people.

Finally finding it, she opened the door it's warm air and delicious smell engulfing her like a welcome back hug .She felt her lips lift up into a weak smile finding comfort in this familiarity. The cashier a freckled-faced teenager boy with a grumpy attitude smiled at her but she could tell it was fake.

She ordered what she always used to order in her old town, cappuccino with an croissant. She thanked him politely and walked to the side giving space to the next customer to take their order.
She could feel someone watching her at the back of her head, turning around her dull brown eyes met green ones.

She narrowed her eyes annoyed  with all the stares and the fact that he didn't have the decency to stop when caught . She could feel that there was something off about him.

He seemed like an average guy if you don't count his good looks but that wasn't what made him different from all the other stares.
It was that he was glaring at her liking she personally done something to offend him.

Her  stomach knotted painfully and her fingers trembled itching to bite its nails.Turning around quickly she could make out flashes of red before being pushed. She could feel herself losing to gravity as her body claps onto the floor with a thud!
Looking up at the intruder she watched as the woman walked to the creepy guy not even glancing her a look much less a hand.

'Thanks for the help' She mumbled sarcastically to herself.

Getting her pathetic self off the floor, she glared at the back of her head as she brushed the dirt off her clothes and walked to the seat at the back.
Siting down she noticed the creepy guy move his glare to the red head.

Sensing that an argument was going to happen she sank in to chair and eased her stiff shoulder.
She knew it was going to an interesting one .
