Chapter 22

-Time skip-

Y/n's Pov

Days had passed since me and Eri tried to escape. We got to leave testing earlier than usual. Something was off about Overhaul like he was frustrated about something. I didn't want to ask scared he would probably lash out on me.

"Y/n..Y/n? Hello you still there?" Eri asked waving her hand infront on me.

"Huh?!" Y/n said

"You were spacing out. Something wrong?" Eri asked

"No it's nothing" Y/n said

"Oh alright then" Eri said then went back to playing with the toys she had.

I decided to think to hard about earlier and play with Eri. I don't want her worrying about me.

-few minutes later-

I was having fun playing with Eri. Until we heard a boom of some sort. Eri jumped while I instantly ran to Eri to calm her down. In case she started freaking out.

"What was that?!" Eri said worryingly

"I'm not sure but I just wanna say one thing" Y/n started

"What is it" Eri asked

If that boom was what I think it was then..there's a chance we've finally been found by the heros. I believe it won't be long until someone comes for us. I took a breath and looked at Eri seriously.

"If what whatever is happening is what I think it is. No matter what happens today I want you to know you've always been a sister to me. I really glad I met you" Y/n said

"Y/n..I-" Eri started but before she could answer the door opened.

Author's Pov

Once the door opened Eri and Y/n both turned to see Overhaul standing in the doorway.

"Let's go now" Overhaul said as he grabbed both Eri and Y/n and rushed them out the room.

Once they were out the room Overhaul continued to drag them out frantically down the halls. They eventually met up with one of his men as they followed after Overhaul.

Y/n's Pov

My eyes widened to see Overhaul in the door way. He told us to leave with him. Before I could say anything back to him. He grabbed my arm along with Eri's and dragged us out the room. Keeping a strong grip on us so we couldn't escape.

We soon met up with another of his men. As he continued to drag us along with him.

Eri looked at me wanting to know what was going on. But before I could I saw someone behind us. A hero...I thought. Overhaul then spoke up.

"I must say I'm surprised you caught up with us so easily" Overhaul says

"I just happened to find a shortcut. Now I'm here to rescue those girls you have. Away from you" He said

"I think you got it all wrong. You see i don't think they want to go with you" Overhaul said tightening his grip on me a Eri more. I winced a little from the pain. I wanted to say something but I could see Overhaul saw this. And tightened his grip on me harder. I swear if it weren't for these chains on me I would've bashed him so hard right now. Even so I was powerless with these chains so I kept my mouth shut.

They continued to talked. Then seeing that Overhaul wasn't going to get through to him at all. He turned around  while still having us in his grasp and began walking away from him.

Author's Pov

Once Overhaul began walking away from Mirio. Mirio charged straight for him. Overhaul stops and looks at Mirio and tells him to die. At that moment he began to loose his balance. Due to Deidoro's quirk a member of the Eight bullets. Someone fires his gun at Mirio. At that moment both Eri and Y/n's eyes widened in fear seeing the person who had come to rescue them. Going to be shot at. But they sighed in relief when they saw the bullet go through him. Must be his quirk Y/n thought.
