Chapter 5

Y/n's pov

I was back to playing with Aiko once again today. Since they gave me a break again a few days ago. I was enjoying playing tag today.

"Alright try and catch me y/n" Aiko said I smirked to myself as I ran to try and catch her. I must say gotta hand it to Aiko she's a fast runner I thought.

"Aww~is y/n giving up already" Aiko remarked with a cheeky smirk.

"No way!" Y/n yelled pouting as I ran after Aiko once again.

Author's Pov

Finally after a while of playing tag Aiko let y/n catch up to her to win. As she smiled at the little 5-year old jumping with glee that she won.

-Later-

Aiko asked for permission to bring y/n to one of the parks close by. Promising to bring her right back. The others were hestiant at first, but Afo allowed them. Watching walk off in the distance.

"Even if they did happen to escape they wouldn't get far" Afo spoke before walking back to his office.

Y/n was excited, she hadn't been out for so long. She was thankful towards Aiko for giving her a chance to see the outside world again.

Once they stepped outside y/n was blinded by all the brightness. Once her eyes adjusted. She looked around with stars in her eyes while Aiko smiled warmly at her. Leading her towards the park. Once they arrived y/n couldn't help but want to try everything. After a while of playing y/n spotted a field of flowers. She asked Aiko if they could go there. While Aiko warmly replied with a yes as y/n ran ahead.

"Wait! Y/n don't run ahead. You'll end up tripping and hurting yourself, alright" Aiko scolded

"Oh, sorry hehe..I guess I got a little too excited" Y/n replied with a grin.

"It's alright next time just don't run off alright" Aiko said

"Alright!" Y/n replied cutely

They finally made it to the field of flowers. Aiko sat down smiling at y/n while she ran around catching butterflies the came towards Aiko. She handes her a flower crown, Aiko smiled at her and thanked her. They both sat down together making flower crowns and talking.

Soon the sun began to set. Aiko got up and held her hand towards Aiko.

"Alright it's getting late we should head back before we get in trouble alright" Aiko said

"O-ok-" Y/n said hesitantly

"Hmm what's wrong" Aiko asked

"Um-Aiko" Y/n spoke

"Hmn" Aiko repiled

"Promise me something" Y/n asked looking towards the setting sun.

"Alright what is it" Aiko asked

"Promise me, you'll never leave me" Y/n spoke. Aiko was a little taken aback, but smiled as she nodded.

"Alright" Aiko replied

"Pinky promise" Y/n asked holding out her pinky towards Aiko.

"Alright then, pinky promise" Aiko said interlocking her pinky with Y/n sealing the promise. Y/n then stood up  and began walking. While Aiko followed looking at her sadly. I'm sorry Y/n I don't I'll be able to keep our promise. If only things were different. It's almost time I only hope you can get through this without my little rose Aiko thought. Making her way towards the lab with y/n. Although Y/n really didn't want to go back, but with the collar and tracker they have on her. It would be impossible to try and escape from them.
