3rd Person
Vincent smiled at the roaring fire in the fireplace - he didn't often light a fire but he decided for tonight he would.
After getting some... alone time... to think about what'd happened that morning with Y/n he was back to his normal self and able to think rationally. After many arguments with himself, calls to Mike, and Mike telling him to 'stop being a pussy', Vincent came to the decision that it was time he finally told Y/n he liked her and asked her out.
To his luck, Y/n had decided to go out to the shops for a few hours and just to walk around, which she'd wanted to do alone. Initially he was disappointed he couldn't spend more time with her, but maybe, just maybe, she could finally become his girlfriend from this.
He went into the kitchen and pulled out a bottle of wine from the cupboard, before placing it on the coffee table in the living room and two glasses either side. There was a knock at the door and his eyes widened, he scuttled to the door and looked through the keyhole to see to his relief it was only the pizza guy with his order. He opened the door and took the pizza, tipping him generously, before going back inside, he set the pizza down.
He'd ordered Y/n's favourite topping, he wasn't particularly fond of it but he was willing to pretend for her, her being his girlfriend would make it all worth it, if she said yes.
He felt the familiar sensation of nerves pile up on him, but he brushed them off, it was now or never - he was going to tell her how he felt whether she liked him back or not. He knew if he didn't tell her sooner he was going to go insane.

The sound of the door opening pulled Vincent out of his thoughts, he snapped his head up and felt heat rise in his cheeks. It was quite cold and windy out today, her hair was slightly ruffled and her cheeks had turned a hint of pink.
At first, Y/n didn't notice the set up he had, she put down her handbag and took off her coat, hanging it up on the coat peg near the door. Then she noticed the whole set up.
"Oh good, you lit the fire," she smiled, walking over to him she sat down. Vincent shifted slightly closer to her. "And you ordered pizza."
"Yeah..." Vincent rubbed the back of his neck nervously - he'd spent the whole afternoon making this set up to ask Y/n out, he knew he would be nervous, but he didn't think he'd be this nervous.
"Are you okay...?" Y/n noticed something was up almost immediately, he wasn't his usual confident self, he sat there slightly slouched, his eyes looking everywhere but at her, and his cheeks were slightly pink.
"Yeah I just..." he paused. "There's something I've been meaning to tell you for... since we met actually."
Y/n said nothing but tilted her head, waiting for him to continue.
"Y/n I..."
There was a silence.
"You don't have to say it now if you're not comfortable...."
"No, I need to tell you now," Vincent insisted. "Otherwise I probably never will."
"Right..." Y/n raised an eyebrow. "Well... what is it then?"
"The thing is... I really really really really like you, and I know we've not known each other all that long and you probably don't believe me when I say I like you, but I really do. From the day I first met you I was absolutely smitten. There's never a time of day when I'm not preoccupied where my mind doesn't slip to you, I look forward to speaking to you when I wake up, and I love being around you - even if it is when we're at risk of killer robots."
Vincent had given a longer speech than he had intended, but he meant every word of it, he really was crazy for her.
Y/n gapped slightly, not knowing how to respond. Did she like Vincent too? Of course she did, she'd fallen head over heals for him! How couldn't she? He was funny, kind, generous, honest, a great person to be around... not to mention he was also very handsome.
Vincent took her silence as a bad sign, his heart sank.
"It's fine if you don't feel the same way," he said in a rushed voice. "I wouldn't want to ruin what we hav-"
"Vincent!" Y/n, finally finding her voice, cut him off. "It's okay. If I'm being honest I feel the same way about you."
Vincent felt his stomach do a backflip, he looked up at her, sudden hope on his face.
"You do?"
"Definitely!" she grinned. "You've done so much for me, you've been there for me since the day we met and have done nothing but show me patience, safety, and happiness. Being around you is the safest I've ever felt, I don't know where I'd be if I hadn't have met you but I am so glad I did."
"I'm glad I met you too," Vincent pulled her into a hug, he felt tears of happiness prick his eyes - this was the happiest he'd felt in the longest time. "Will you be my girlfriend?"
Y/n pulled away from the hug, smirking.
"Of course I wanna be your girlfriend dummy," she flicked his nose. "I just told you I like you back."
Vincent laughed, moving closer to her.
"Oh and also I got pizza," he suddenly remembered, Y/n opened the box and gawked when she saw her favourite. "And I made sure it wasn't that Freddy's crap."
Y/n turned to him and smiled.
"How did you know I liked this topping?"
"I remember you mentioning it briefly that night Mike was over," Vincent shrugged.
"You remember that?"
"Well, obviously," Vincent slightly sarcastically said, gesturing to the pizza. Y/n rolled her eyes.
"You know that's not what I meant dumbass.."
"Who you calling dumbass," Vincent pushed her over, she fell down on the couch and Vincent pinned her down. "What did you mean then genius?"
Y/n noticed the position they were in and saw that smirk on his face... he knew what he was doing and she wasn't going to let him win.
"You'd look great on top y'know," she said in the most casual tone she could, Vincent's smirk disappeared for a second, he was starting to blush.
"What has that got to do with anything?"
"Absolutely nothing," Y/n lifted a hand and placed it onto his cheek, moving the other one to his shoulder, his face was going from grape purple to beetroot red, just as Y/n had intended. "I just thought I'd let you know."
Vincent could feel the familiar craving he'd felt after that incident this morning creeping up on him. Without thinking twice, he leant down and pressed his lips on hers. Y/n let out a slight gasp of surprise, she hadn't expected that. Vincent took this opportunity to slid his tongue in, deepening the kiss he explored every inch of her mouth. Eventually, he had to pull away for air, panting.
Y/n was still in a state of shock, she hadn't expected that... not that she was complaining.
Vincent lent his head in, lightly placing his forehead on hers, she could feel his breath on her face. He longed to kiss her again but held back.
"I'm absolutely crazy about you Y/n.." he gasped between breaths. "You have no idea..."
