"Thanks for watching!"
"If you liked this video, make sure to give it a big thumbs up! Also subscribe by hitting that big red "subscribe" button down there" Jaylee exclaimed, pointing down to where the subscribe button would be on the viewers screen.
"Make sure you hit that little bell button beside it as well, if you'd like to get notified when we post new videos, also comment down below who you'd like to see us collaborate with in the future and some video ideas! We'll see you guys next time!" I finished.
I walk over to the setup, stopping the recording and shutting off the camera while Jay ties her wavy, dark brown hair up in a ponytail and goes and cleans up the supplies we had used in this video. Following her lead, I tie up my own brown with natural blond highlighted hair into a messy bun. We've been doing this for so long, the cleanup part is honestly like muscle memory at this point. We each kind of do our own thing, thinking about the video, parts we want to cut when editing, what kind of thumbnail we want, and more, so we always end up being silent for the next several minutes, which is totally okay with the both of us.
"Heyyyyyy girls!" Our dads say, walking into the room. It may want to be noted that our dad's work together to "manage" us. Ben, Jaylee's dad and my dad's best friend, mainly does management around our image and things that go on in the outside world. He's the one our supporters are more well known with. My dad however, does the technical, nitty gritty stuff that Jaylee and I don't want to do, such as researching if brand deals are legit or not. I don't believe many supporters know about how he helps manage us, but if they do, they definitely don't know the extent he goes to.
Ben, or Uncle Ben as I call him, and my dad sit on our video bench, looking at the little mess we have left to clean up.
"What's up?" Jaylee asks, sweeping up the last little bits and pieces.
"So, you know how we are going down to LA tomorrow, and of course we are staying at a hotel and whatnot." Dad continues.
We both nod. Of course we remember. As much as we love our hometown, Calgary (located Alberta, Canada), we absolutely LOVE travelling down to Los Angeles, and, because of what we do, we get to travel there quite often.
"Welllllll...." Uncle Ben looks between me, Jaylee and Dad, "I have a friend down there, who actually invited us over for dinner a few nights we are visiting!"
"Cool, cool...so that means we have to dress up?" Jaylee wonders.
"No, no, no, he's offered us home-cooked meals, so it'll just be casual." Dad clarifies. "We just wanted to let you guys know so that you aren't completely surprised when we pull up to a random house."
"Speaking of home-cooked meals, I believe your mother has dinner ready upstairs!"
"Oh great, I'm starving!" Jaylee says, much to my agreement, as we all head upstairs for our final meal before LA.
