We walked through the gates and both Robby and I were new to this school so we had to go to the office to get our timetables.
It was hard to find but we finally got in there and went to the lady at the front table. She looked up and she had dead straight brown hair and she only looked to be in her thirties maybe younger. "Hello, how can I help you both?" She asked.
"Um we are new and we're told to get our timetables from here"I answered nervously. I never liked talking to people it made me a bit nervous.
"Okay what's your names?" The nice lady asked.
"Oh I'm Paris Mills"
"And Robby Keene"
"Okay Paris Mills and Robby Keene" she whispered looking for the small pieces of paper. "Ahh here we go" she gave each of us a small piece a paper and we thanked her and left.
Robby and I walked into the hallways and it was packed. There were kids everywhere. I spotted Miguel and Hawk from a distance but we were luckily going a different way from where they were.
Since we were new our lockers were practically right next to each other which was a relief because I was pretty sure in the future I would get lost looking for it.
I checked my timetable to see what my first lessons were and it was maths, then English, then science. What a shitty timetable so far. I grabbed out what I needed and continued to hold my timetable while I waited for Robby.
"What's your first lessons?" I asked as I waited for him to hurry up. "Uh I have history, Maths, and then science"
"Oh okay I think we have science together but that's it"
"Hey guys" I turned around and saw Sam and Demetri coming up to Robby and I. "Hey"
Sam looked down at the small piece of paper in my hands. "Here give me your timetable I'll see what we have together" I handed her the small piece of paper and she examined it for a while.
"Okay so we have every lesson together but maths and science, that's pretty good" I was relieved that I had most lessons with Sam because I didn't really want to make new friends at this school I was good with the ones I had.
The bell rang and everyone went to class while I looked around trying to find mine. The room was 45a so it must be around here somewhere.
It was no doubt I was late but it didn't really matter because I was new and I have absolutely no clue where I'm doing. "Ahh here it is" I turned the knob and opened the door and the whole class stared at me.
I didn't pay any attention to them I just looked at my teacher. "Sorry I'm late, I couldn't find the class, I'm new" I said standing there awkwardly.
"That's fine, does that mean that your Paris?" He asked giving me a small smile. "Yeah that's me" I felt the whole class staring at me as I talked to the teacher. "Well I'm Mr Grant, it's nice to meet you, you can just take a seat wherever" I looked around the class and met with familiar brown eyes. Miguel's.
I ignored him and went and sat down to a blonde, nice looking girl who was sitting by herself.
"Hi, can I sit here" I whispered as Mr Grant continued talking. She smiled at me and nodded her head.
I put all my stuff down and sat next to the girl and listened to Mr Grant talking. He said we were going to be working on a project in partners so I decided to ask the girl sitting next to me.
"Hey do you wanna be my partner?" I asked gathering all my books up as it was almost the end of the lesson. "Yeah sure" she said smiling also gathering her books up.
