Friday
The rest of the week went pretty slow with mainly training for the all valley tournament that was tomorrow. Robby had spent every single night with me and it has made us really close like closer than I ever thought we could get. My mom wouldn't be back until the day after tomorrow so I will have to fill her in worth everything that has happened with Megan.
I mean I don't even know if Megan is competing tomorrow which I hope she isn't because although I could definitely beat her in a fight I hate seeing that awful face of hers it just makes me sick.
"Alright so as you all know the all valley tournament is tomorrow and before we finish up here I just wanted to say no matter how we do tomorrow I am proud of you all and I know that you will try your absolute best" Mr LaRusso was giving us a speech in the dojo with the rest of the students.
Even cobra kai's old students that came have really improved and I think that all the cobra Kai crap they got told is fully out of their mind which is amazing. "Alright I've finished with my speech, you guys are all free to go" everyone started leaving the dojo including Robby and i when we were stopped by Mr LaRusso and Sam.
"Hey guys I know how your mom hasn't been here for the past week so Robby has been staying with you but would you both like to come stay with us the night so we can drive you both tomorrow instead of walking or skating or however you get around these day?" I looked over at Sam who must've of told him and she gave me a warm smile.
"Uh yeah sure that sounds great, if that's okay with you" Robby asked me. I looked up from Sam and to Mr LaRusso "yeah, sure, thank you so much" I smiled at Mr LaRusso.
We all walked out of the dojo and into Sam and Mr LaRusso's car. I went with Sam in her car while Robby went with Mr LaRusso probably to talk about tomorrow.
"Hey I'm sorry if your offended that I told my dad about Robby staying with you I just wanted to help I didn't mean to- She kept blabbing about it so I interrupted her. "It's fine, I mean it's was probably a good idea that an adult knew just in case something happened"
"Okay good" I could see her relax a little as she continued to drive.
We pulled up to their house moments later but it seemed that Mr LaRusso and Robby hadn't gotten here yet which they should be here soon because they left just after us.
"Hey Anthony" I walked into the LaRusso's house to see Anthony sitting on the couch playing on his video games. "Hey Paris" he didn't look up from his game so I went and sat on the couch beside him.
Sam came in shortly after and sat next to me. "Anthony will you get off that stupid game for once, God that is all your do" Sam said getting frustrated at her little brother. "Shut up Sam" he continued playing his game while Sam and I got up and went to her room.
"Oh did I tell you Robbys dad came to see him the other night at my house?" Sam grabbed out her laptop and opened it up. "What no, what happened"
"That we shouldn't be fighting his "cobra kais" and we were the ones that started the fight" Sam rolled her eyes. "How was Robby?"
"He seemed fine but I think it got to him a little how his own dad was believing those bullies over his own son" I shrugged and went and sat next to her.
"Hey I'm sorry I really need to FaceTime my friends I haven't seen them all week" Sam said opening up FaceTime. "Yeah that's fine, do you want me to leave so you can talk to them?"
"No that's fine you can stay here"
She called a girl named Yasmine first and then added another girl whose name I think was Moon but I could be wrong.
Sam spoke with them a little while and I could tell that they were the popular mean girls especially one of them, the blonde one because she was being really sarcastic and rude towards Sam.
"Oh and this is Paris" Sam motioned me to come say hi. I went over there in the camera. "Hii" I said not really knowing what to say.
"So who is this, Sam?" The blonde one said not answering me. "Hi, I'm moon" the brunette said giving me a small smile. "She's my friend we do karate together" Yasmine rolled her eyes so I just looked at her.
"Well I gotta go but I'll talk to you guys soon" Sam said shutting off the laptop. "Well they are...nice?" I said obviously in a sarcastic way. "Yeah they have their own little way of meeting new people" I just nodded my head and went back on my phone.
The door opened moments later and we both looked up to see Mr LaRusso. "Girls come down stairs, oh and put a swim suit on" he shut the door while both Sam and I just looked at each other confused.
"Okay well do you wanna borrow one of my swim suits?" Sam asked still confused of what was going on. "Yeah, sure I guess" Maybe we were just going for a nice swim?
Sam and I got changed and took a towel downstairs to the pool where Robby was. I went and stood next to him and Sam followed my lead and walked over with me. "What's going on?" I whispered in his ear.
"I have no clue" we watched as Mr LaRusso came out of the house and in front of us. "Okay so when Mr Miyagi was teaching me Karate he told me the best way to relax your muscles and get rid of any possible injuries is to swim around in ice cold water" I looked down at the pool which now looked really cold. "You have to be joking" I said looking back up at him.
"Wait what's going on?" Robby asked me still confused on what we were doing. "Paris, tell them"
"We are going to be swimming in the pool but Mr LaRusso has drained all the water that was in their before and filled it up with ice cold water that we will swim in for a long time" I looked over at Sam who rolled her eyes and looked at her dad.
"Come on dad we don't feel sore and neither of us have any injuries"
"Nope your getting in, come on" he pushed us towards the pool. "No, guys it's fine I've done this like a hundred times it's only feels cold for like a couple of minutes but your body gets use to it" I said as when we were in New Jersey and I was a track runner I had to do this after every training session.
"Fine then Paris you get in first" Sam said still trying to avoid getting the pool. "Okay" I ran up to the pool and jumped in. When my body hit the pool I immediately felt the cold water and it felt like knives stabbing me but I stayed under water for a little while waiting for my body to get use to it.
I came back up to see all three of them just standing there. "Well are you getting in or not?" I asked as they all just stood there.
"Ugh fine" Robby slowly stepped into the pool using the small steps on the side. I watched as his body shivered so I swam over to his grabbing his arm and pulled his body right under the water. I heard him yell but it was pretty funny not going to lie. In this time Sam had stepped in and I looked over at her to see her teeth quivering and body shaking.
I looked the other way and saw Robby come up from under the water still shivering. "Haven't you guys ever done this before?" I said confused because I was sure that everyone had, had an ice cold bath.
"Does it look like we have?" Sam asked trying to swim over to us. "Okay guys you are going to stay in here for only ten minutes" Mr LaRusso turned his phone around and put a timer on for ten minutes leaving his phone on the chair beside the pool.
"You know we could get sick from this" Sam said as she swam around. "Trust me you won't when you get out you will feel so good" I said in a reassuring voice. "Bullshit" I heard Robby sat under his breath.
"You'll see"
Ten minutes passed and Mr LaRusso's timer went off and we all swam to the edge oki the pool and hopped out. We grabbed the towel and wrapped it around us because this was where it was really cold. I shivered a little bit and dried off so that we could go back inside.
