"Come on everyone, get in the car! We might get some traffic on the way, so it's better we get there as quickly as possible." Mr. Hamada beckoned as he held the car door for Asahi and and Haruto to get in. "Honestly, I'd get stuck in traffic for an entire day than see Yucky doing PDA with her husband." Asahi said. "Same, son. I feel bad for Yuki's husband. He doesn't know what he's gotten himself into." Mr. Hamada replied, pity clearly visible in his expression. Mrs. Hamada joined the males shortly after, and they hit the road.
"Ruto, can we exchange our suit jackets?" Asahi asked Haruto, his eyes suspiciously glinting. "I would, but I know you're only asking me for my suit because you've got the itchy one this time. Besides, you look handsome in white. If Jae sees you in that, he'll definitely fall fo-" Before Haruto could reveal anything else, Asahi hurriedly slapped his palm onto Haruto's mouth. "Who's Jae?" Mrs. Hamada asked curiously. Asahi hung his head in defeat. There was no escaping this situation now. "You just can't shut your donut hole, can you?" Haruto just smiled apologetically. "So who's this Jae boy?" Mrs. Hamada repeated. "Well....J-Jae is just someone we...know. Yes, he's someone we know." Asahi said, hoping his mother would buy his statement. "Sounds interesting. How'd you guys meet?" She asked, diverting her gaze to the boys sitting with awkward smiles in the backseat. Haruto had just opened his mouth but didn't get the chance to say anything because Mrs. Hamada continued speaking. "Did he, perhaps, help you get a shrimp out of your throat when you almost died choking on it, at a much despised maternal aunt's wedding? It seems you like this Jae boy too, don't you?" Haruto and Asahi's jaws were ready to hit the ground. They both looked at each other as if to say, 'Heck, how the hell did she know?' and 'I don't know bro.'
"Your mother once used to be an expert love-guru, but that was all the way back in university. I see she hasn't lost her touch yet." Mr. Hamada said. Mrs. Hamada smiled proudly. "Anyway, this 'Jae' boy's actual name is Jaehyuk, if you didn't know." She said. "We didn't, actually." The lads said in unison. "Well then if you have plans on speaking to him again, don't mention his name. You'll probably give him a fright." Asahi made a mental note for himself to use the advice his mother had given him. After all, it could be useful later on.
